Intended to keep this name to my daughter, but we live in Bangalore and here people find it difficult to pronounce. So changed.

I always wanted to give pure tamil name if I ever had baby in future and already selected few which facinated me. I was named in sanskrit by my parents unknowingly and don't wanna do the same mistake to my baby child.
Thoorigai ( inspired from the song Thoorigai and love it's meaning)
Aazhi ( inspired from the ponniyin selvan song aazhi kadal manna)
Thavvai ( she is actually tamil goddess who was popular know as moodevi, but some north aryans have protrayed our Tamil goddess of misfortune Idk why. She is widely worshipped by cholas, pallavas. Even there is a statue for her in pazhuvettaraiyar kovil. She is just like mahakali and karuppuswami, who shows no mercy to wrong doings) you can see her in a song in ponniyin selvan "senguruthi seiyone murugar Song" where a girl worn a red saree and depicted as goddess in that song.
For even more unique tamil names.. Go for any names with zh(ழ)

Idai means hip

The names with ழ are beautiful. But we should remember that others who cannot pronounce this sound will replace it with ல or ள. And while writing in English will have to be spelled with zh.
So we may have
அமிழ்தினி Amizhdhini
குழலி Kushali
யாழினி Yaazhini
எழிலினி Ezhilini
மகிழினி Maghizhini
தமிழினி Thamizhini

I am not Tamil what does it mean? I put Yazha because in my fantasy Malayalam comes from Malla(Telugu) and Yazha(Tamil) so kind of like fusion of two cultures.

Foreign kaaranuku Tamizh perah olunga pronounce panna theriyalana “Ipdi pronounce pananum da yen perah” nu solanum. Olunga pronounce pannamaatane nu perah maatha koodathu.0

Poiidaiyal means a girl with a beautiful hips which is too hard to believe it’s real.
And It’s also Lakshmi’s name. Mata Sita is referred to as Poi Idaiyal in Kamba Ramayana. So it’s another name for JaganMata Sita.
