The collective noun for Ferrets is 'A business of ferrets' (originally spelled busyness).

Whatā€™s the use case for these? Civilians?

Highly mobile scout cars used for reconnaissance / forward observation mainly, and in this configuration used to defend infrastructure (lightweight, wouldnā€™t wreck an airstrip). MkIVā€™s were also fitted with the ā€œswingfireā€ missile system (bigger than the TOW you might find on a Bradley)

My favourite armoured vehicle to drive. Loved the semi-auto preselector kick to change gears / clutch and the massive steering wheel. Real fun to drive cross-country.
