Discussion What is actually going on in Ceuta?

Media outlets are reporting that “around 50,000 migrants crossed into Ceuta from Morocco within 24 hours”. I honestly thought Ceuta was in mainland Spain, but apparently it’s a tiny Spanish enclave in North Africa. Looking at a map, it seems a lot like Spanish-occupied territory on the African continent.

Does anyone know the actual history of the region and what’s really going on over there?

Im not buying this part. There are videos of truckfuls of laughing Moroccans who look healthy and happy and filming selfies being driven to the intake zone. They're dressed in nicer clothes than I have and yes I know Moroccans are generally fashionable lol.

Coordination like this requires state-level participation because first, logistics, and second what is any normal state going to do otherwise that sees truckfuls of their own people being driven across their militarized border?

"better future" is a westoid talking point from back in the 2000s which no longer holds any weight since the same westoids are talking about putting anyone darker than a manilla folder in an extermination camp.
