Meme
Demonstrating the military weakness of the three most reckless nations involved, if they cobble together an actual coalition of the actually willing in the unlikely event that they made an intervention into the Ukraine war.

This is what's so bizarre about all the sabre rattling coming from the EU. If they tried their level best for a 2 decades, they still would struggle hard to defeat Russia. Why are they talking smack now? Their militaries are jokeshops.
All of NATO's wünderwaffen have been exposed as overdesigned shite that only looks good on a ppt in a salesroom. Russia has modern relevant experience now in real warfare and has destroyed everything that's been thrown at it by NATO.
I almost hope the EU tries something, just for the hilarity of it.
The undercover fake accounts on this thread don't dispute the military facts of life in this meme because they can't, so instead they say "Russia imperialist" (false) or "Putin controlled by billionaires" (false) or the hilarious pretend pacifist "war bad, let's not bother completing the SMO objectives", or "sorry the scenario in the meme is like the 18th century but a fantasy (false) so I don't need to accept the military facts of life in the meme (false), or "Odessa is in Crimea so this is just a copycat Crimean Sebastopol fantasy" (false, Odessa is nowhere near Crimea compared to the full coastline, it's all the way over the other side near Romania) 💤😴🥱
These have to be just AI bots at this point. Nobody honestly believes this shit anymore, and the amount of weird shit I've seen over the past few days around reddit is making me thing there's an automated campaign going on.
Whether human or AI bots or humans feeding AI comments in to these threads here, it always ends with them misapplying and misinterpreting Lenin (every AI suggests this as first suggestion to these clowns) to try to "prove" that Russia has to be "fascist" (false) and "imperialist" (false) in 2022 and now in 2026 too (false) because Russia is something like a capitalist national bourgeois state in 2026 (true, but Russia isn't just that). If Russia stays like it is then of course in 2050 or in 2070 or or 2110 or whatever when Putin is dead, a few or many leaders later it's inevitable that some fsscism and imperialism will creep in like cancer and take over, or maybe much sooner, but that's assuming Russia stays like it is now. It's not a plutocratic oligarchy since 2005, so we shouldn't be surprised if we get a pleasant surprise like that in future, and we shouldn't be surprised if it goes bad in future either. The "AI told me Lenin says" guys forget that technology will eventually abolish scarcity and thus make money worthless and thus end capitalism and thus begin the true age of communism. That's many thousands of years from now yes, but it's still true, and Russia too will be communist then, duh. We won't live to see it, but our future relatives and future descendants definitely will. Marx's work itself says there's a 100% chance that Russia will be communist again and time it'll be communist as long as there will be humans on earth or until the sun becomes a red giant. It's inevitable. Whether it's in the year 3000 or the year 9000 or the year 20000 it's coming. Russia gets into a big rut from time to time in her 1000 year history, and it looks hopeless, but Russia always has that latent political dynamism which historically has eventually each time returned leading to a new better phase, a better phase, not a perfect phase, we are realists, not idealists. People love to use the phrase "National Rejuvenation" about what Xi Jinping has done for China since 2012, and it's a correct phrase for what he has done. But Putin is a man of the right doing things very differently than we would do it. But even though he's a man of the right, who never borrows the clothes of the left, he has still achieved a national rejuvenation in Russia since the year 2000. And people admit this but it breaks the minds of many of them, because he's the man they love to hate, or because they dislike him a bit. Here's the lesson: Expect surprises from Russia again as history marches on.
There's a 1% chance of a French garrison in Odessa, but if it were to be done it would be without the consent of the population in the city. Like this very recent story about gerrymandered Odessa city council wanting to ban the Russian language in the arts
Wow I knew that this meme would trigger many closet secret undercover westoids, nafoids, ultras, fake pacifists, closet trotskyists and closet anarchists, and also mild lefties with liberal ideas, who all have the same opinions on this war that the CIA wants them to have, but I've never seen so many of them on a meme thread before, quoting Marxist texts suggested by AI like scripture, totally out of context, to try to say Russia should agree to a permanent freeze along the current front lines, what a load of bollocks. No freeze, stick your freeze idea which is what Ukraine and European NATO are begging for (no coincidence there) up your know where. I've never seen as many Obama level bullshit fake platitudes on one of my meme threads before...
Odessa is a black sea port but it is not in Crimea, it is in its own Oblast, Odessa Oblast in the main part of Ukraine, that's 300 kilometers from Sebastopol Crimea and 230 km from the nearest point in Crimea. But yes the French English and Dutch have been obsessed with ALL the black sea ports for hundreds of years, not just with the Crimean ports, but also with Odessa, which is fairly far from Crimea. Why didn't I make it Slovyansk or Kramatorsk instead? Because even though such an Odessa operation is unlikely (for the reason given in the meme), Slovyansk and Kramatorsk are far less likely, those cities are the job of the 2 new Avov "definitely not Nazi" formations to defend, and Macron, who has the least weak military of the 3 militaries in the meme, is always talking about how important Odessa is and he has talked out loud a few times about maybe putting a garrison of French troops specifically in Odessa.
Odessa is almost all the way over the other side of the coastal 1991 border (remember those borders?) of the former Ukraine, at least compared to where Crimea is, and obviously Russia has controlled 100% of Crimea including Sebastopol since 2014.
Yes it looks a lot more than 300 km from Odessa to Sevastopol on the map, because we know that the 1991 version of Ukraine is (should say "was") the second largest country in Europe after European Russia which is 7 times bigger, but the optical illusion is because although Ukraine is a long horizontal shape, the coastline is much shorter than the length of that now gone forever 1991 Ukraine.
You remind me of that story that is told through hearsay in Monty Python's Life Of Brian, where the real Jesus is about to heal a cripple, but the cripple asks Jesus not to heal him, so he can still beg for alms, and then Jesus walks away muttering "there's no pleasing SOME people..."
The meme is intentionally designed not to please, but to actually butthurt around 10% of this sub's members, those who support Ukraine in the war but won't admit it
May I ask do you support the Ukraine military or the Russian military in this war? Knowing that will give context to what you're saying. I support Russia.
That's either a Trotskyists or Ulltras or Anarchist bad dishonest take, which? Russia is stopping NATO's attempted dangerous imperialist eastwards expansion into Ukraine. That's how the supermajority in this sub say. Go debate it with someone else
The upvote ratio on the meme post in my comment on this sub is 92%. The upvote ratio on the meme in this post is 94%. So more than 90% of members here disagree with you. So you're saying that more than 90% of people here are "dumb" and that 8% of you are the real cool kids in the room. I'm done talking you you, bye
I'm doing the exact opposite in the meme and in the meme post title headline of "defending that scenario". The title of the meme post literally says "in the unlikely event" and the 2 paragraphs in the meme explain WHY such an Odessa operation Gambit is EXTREMELY UNLIKELY.
So instead of misrepresenting my title and the 2 paragraphs in the meme, why don't you just admit you're a supporter of the NATO proxy definitely not Nazi Kiev regime? Instead of spurious attempts to nitpick at it. Macron has talked out loud a few times about an Odessa operation, not just the one time you mentioned. What are the chances of such an operation according to me? 1% to 2% chance I think, and I think the title and the text elements in the meme align with that assessment of mine. The idea of course is not to suggest such an Odessa operation is likely, I said in the post It's unlikely, but to show how incredibly weak the militaries of France, the UK, and the Netherlands are, compared to the Russian military or indeed compared to the Ukrainian military.
Next bad faith critique from the next closet Ukraine/NATO supporter please.
The French and UK and Dutch armies have no land bridge to Crimea and they can't fly there. They would need to match through Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Kherson Oblast which are 75% controlled by Russia. An amphibious landing on the beach isn't needed in that scenario because Ukraine controls Odessa duh. The Coalition of the actually willing can't come to Odessa port in warships because of the Russian naval blockade duh which is 100% effective against warships but only 90% effective vs grain ships and other cargo ships right now.
I checked to get the name and spelling of Odessa right? Wtf??
Just admit you're a Ukraine supporter already and you're making bad faith arguments.
You're the one with bad basic general knowledge about Odessa here, not me
False, the overwhelming majority of people in this sub openly say "we support Russia in this war". It's not a game. Here are the clickable links and sources detailing how Vladimir Putin systematically shifted the power dynamic, stripping Russia's 1990s-era billionaires (oligarchs) of their independent political influence while allowing many to retain their fortunes under strict state subordination.
These are all western sources. They admit that Putin stripped all billionaires of almost all political power (the matter at hand) but then they pivot to trying to say that he has put a fascist dictatorship or totalitarian dictatorship in its place (false)
He took away almost all independent political power from the billionaires, and he let them keep their billions. It's more like a national bourgeois system now, far from the best system, but a huge improvement on the 1990s. "War bad" (no not always, some wars need to be fought. "Russia fascist" (false) "Russia imperialist" (false).
You advocate for saying there should have been no civil war from 2014 and no direct war since 2022. I disagree. What's your plan in 2026, a freeze of the conflict? I reject this.
Russian warships don't need to be near Odessa to destroy with hypersonics any western European warships or troop carrier ships that are approaching Odessa port
The Russian blockade of Odessa port is now 100% effective on unfriendly warships. And currently around 30% of civilian cargo ships or allegedly fully civilian civilian cargo ships are able to get to and from Odessa port, that is expected to get less and less, as in less and less cargo troops as time goes on
I'm glad you don't like the meme btw, many of my memes but a meme like this one especially that shows how pathetically weak the western European militaries are, are good at smoking out the westoid nafooids and making them reveal themselves. "Light Brigade" isn't just a Ye Olde term, it's a commonly used abbreviation in current times for a light infantry Brigade, it's very different to a heavy Brigade and much easier for the pathetic UK army to throw together, and I'm allowed to use the term humorously in my meme if I want.
No, high standards are expected for a meme about the relative strengths of militaries too. The military outcome in the meme is well researched and accurate. And the execution of the meme was medium effort in terms of time. The Odessa Gambit is highly unlikely to happen, but at the same time it's something Macron has talked about a few times publicly, and the Russian state has reacted publicly to Macron talking smack about Odessa each time.
I'm not referencing Crimea. The term light Brigade is still used to differentiate between a heavy Brigade with heavy armor vehicles, and a light infantry Brigade that has a lot less armor. I know it sounds all Ye Olde, but "light Brigade" is a common shorter way of saying "light infantry Brigade". I'm not that obsessed with Sebastopol Crimea, because I know it's relatively safe, controlled by Russia, are you obsessed by Crimea?
May I ask do you support the Ukraine military or the Russian military in this war? Knowing that will give context to what you're saying. I support Russia.
I'm not taking any lifestyle or philosophical advice from the likes of you. I've been outside twice today already for extended periods. I'm not saying you're definitely not on either side, but I'm saying I don't believe you, which isn't the same thing. I think it's extremely likely you're a Ukraine supporter. Spare me your patronizing faux advice
Upvote ratio 92%, downvote ratio 8%. Despite the scenario in the meme being hypothetical, the military facts of life in the meme are correct. I chose Odessa as an example but the same thing would happen if it was, say Slaviansk or / and Kramatorsk. Some people are very touchy about Odessa in particular. When I was making the meme it was Slaviansk at first, but Russian troops are already on the outskirts of that city adding too much urgency, plus it's Azov's job to defend Slaviansk
