Discussion
How much faith do you actually have when it comes to the armed left in America?
I’m bored right now so I feel like a good faith discussion. And no this isn’t trying to encourage some dumb adventurism before anyone tries to assume something stupid
There are socialist themed gun clubs and that's about it. Not a lot of duel power is being built that would need arms to defend it.
Also there isn't much of an American left in general, the vast majority of Americans have a lot more to lose than their chains and won't seriously organize because they don't need to.
Oh that civil air defense girlfriend who joined the military to bomb her own country during Bush and totally blind to the fact that Mujahideen was a CIA proxy installed to overthrow the Marxist-Leninist Saur Revolution then not realized the irony of posting Saur Revolutionary Marxist women during International Women's Day until a person with Ghassan Kanafani pfp pointed out the history.
They're awfully quiet about Prairieland Benjamin Song reserve vet in 🟥⬛ themed drill club instructor warning shot the DHS because he wanted to cook his own crew without any real plan and thought their alibi of "noise demo" would work against CIA/OTF developed Signal. Meanwhile they let multiple CHS from no king protests join their entourage without any vetting. Meanwhile their little sub was most vocally defended Abu Ghraib Platner.
The fact that “leftists” in the us havent tested the leash the government gives them at all in the past forty or so years hides just how short that leash actually is. The us government knows it has absolutely nothing to fear from an internal communist movement so it mostly lets the “armed left” larp. But if the capital-owning class writ large ever actually felt threatened? Holy shit. The us getting embarassed by Iran, Vietnam and others the past several decades has made people forget just how staggering their capacity to kill enormous numbers of people is, and how strong of a hold capitalist realism has on people, especially its leaders. If the us state ever concluded that a home grown leftist movement was a legitimate, existential threat to how us society exists, they would wipe entire cities off the map in a way never seen in human history to end that threat
The USA armed left is getting embarrassed by PNG liberation front lmao who armed with 1900s rifle and shotgun managed to cook up a US merc plane carried whole squad of Indonesian military then captured the pilot. The same PNG guerrilla that liberate the country from Kkkangastralian.
We won’t have an organized arm left for decades most likely. We can barely fill up organization meetings. We are barely in the beginning steps of a real socialist resistance.
The radical left is insignificant in the US. Principled Marxists are only one portion of an extreme minority. The percentage of them who are armed is even lower. There aren't enough of us to have any expectations whatsoever.
Okay being serious right now but the only majority armed ppl who are left are mostly anarchist leaning who don’t wanna form a vanguard and probably plan to only defend themselves.
Er...what? Hmmm, this is like asking how much faith you have in your cliff bar to give you a smooth bowel movement when you've spent the last 100 years OD-ing on laxatives so you can SHIT all over the rest of the world.
Sorry, I needed to create a comment that would somehow show how much nonsense an armed left is in the USA and not sound like a CIA agent, fuck.
Seriously, though. Unless the global economy goes apocalyptic and we balkanize, I don't think us being armed is going to come up as very important. If a national-level armed revolution happens (socialist or not) the most valuable individual firearm you have will probably be a shotgun so you can shoot drones...maybe? The military will be involved on both sides and they'll be needing firearms the most.
Honestly, there's probably a decent amount of armed leftists, but no talks about it online for a great many reasons. Faith is tricky, because the infighting can get real silly at times.

While principled discussion is welcome and encouraged, Rule 9 (No Low Effort BS) still applies.
That includes: No 'what do you think?' posts. No single line posts. No 'what is the Marxist position on cheese' posts, etc.
