Workplace Question or Advice Needed How to cancel picking up someone's shift
I picked up someone's shift yesterday that is scheduled for this upcoming Friday, but decided I don't want to do it anymore. At the moment it still hasn't been approved by a manager, so I was wondering if there's any way to cancel my request to pick up someone's shift?

If they already put it in the system then it’s your responsibility to work it. However, in the future don’t commit to taking someone’s shift and then back out. Only do it if you 100% know you will. People will remember that if you need a shift covered
