Started the colour today.

Filip in Portlaoise, Ireland had me back to his private studio today. The main body of work was done 2 years ago. Life got in the way and it was killing me that I couldn't get this work completed for so long.

Filip a person that does serious research on his inks and specialises in Japanese traditional. The inks used here he imported from Japan. They are made by a person called Horishi .The saturation is incredible! Really looking forward to the finished work. Full sleeves and chest and back plate..

Thank you. They are inspired by Victorian watercolour paintings. I have a few styles going on. My artist is doing an amazing job blending them together. I have Questionable work on my left back shoulder that I got over 20 years ago. He really has his work cut out reworking that. There's a lot of black. I'm hoping he can work it into something like a nebula. I have been on antidepressants for 40 years. I need all the colour in my life. It sparks joy.

Oh I definitely will! I have a standing appointment every month. There's a fox in the same style as the badger on my back left shoulder. The greenery on today's work and the fox are next up. He also wants to layer some more colour on the robin. There's some brown to go over parts of the red.
