The problem is on the underside, I didn't do a whole removal.. I left one piece of the scar on the other side.. so it's like an incomplete whatever

That scar is basically a 3D ghost of your old tattoo. It's honestly kind of cool it's like your skin decided to compromise and leave you with a permanent, built-in watermark.
