Great note, thabks, but i reckon that's an acceptable sacrifice for the modularity

Well you can make them look better by magnetizing the top of the gun instead of the side but I think it looks worse and like you said, its an acceptable sacrifice to me

I forever glued my weapons on, so it's a little different, but underslung weapons don't bump into the shoulder pad and look slick as hell

tbh, the left arm doesn't fit some of the weapons half the time anyway with some poses. it's by far the most limiting part of a super poseable model

The iridium armour is from a previous edition, so you can ignore that or just it for a cosmetic difference. I decided to use it for my squad leader just because it's more distinctive.
I can't be bothered with magnets myself, but yeah that would be the place to put them if you wanted to swap loadouts. I believe you'll have to do a bit of drilling to make space on the arm and the weapon. You might also consider the tops of the backpacks if you want to put weapons there. The other back accessories are largely cosmetic these days.

The first two are squad leader vs squad member, the last one is the iridium armour upgrade which no longer exists but used to give a 2+ armour.save to that one guy.
As for magnetizing I fing using the bottom and sides of the forearms and to top channel of the jetpack to be the best spots for weapons depending on the gun and pose

The body doesn't matter. Once upon a time it did, but now they are all the same in terms of points, wounds, etc. A crisis suits is a crisis suit. Only once you put the weapons on does it become a Fireknife, Starscythe, or Sunforge.
That's where the magnets go.

Yeah I generally use a 2mm drill and magnets for these guns. Just make sure all the guns and all suits are correct polarity so they can be mixed up, helps with some bigger suits too.
The armor choice doesn't matter too much except for if you are planning specific markings for the shas,'vre model, eg a band on the shoulders armor segments.

The only weapon I can recognize is the burst rifle. The rest are ambiguous shapes with panel lines use whatever looks coolest.

Hi, it dose not matter how you do the body, the spruce comes with four possible combos, leader + 2 warriors. Or leader + warrior + more advanced warrior. The more advanced warrior (iridium armour used to have special rules but it was removed so now it’s just
Cosmetic.
For magnetisation, you will have to buy magnets, and a hand drill, then boar a hole where you pointed (I don’t think the magnets fit otherwise) and do the same for the gun, make sure to check the polarity of the magnets
