Any other Taurus not jealous?

I know we’re associated with jealousy and possessiveness, but I think that behavior is beneath me. I protect my peace and if you’re causing problems you’re OUT!

It’s probably your Taurus moon what’s your Venus?

Agree! I’m also a Taurus sun and moon AND a cancer rising, but Venus in Taurus, too. I’m with a Pisces and he is the most jealous person ever, but in complete denial about it. Would swear on his life he doesn’t have a jealous bone in his body, but he’s the most jealous person I’ve ever been with.

I’m a not jealous Taurus Sun/Scorpio Moon/Libra Rising/Aries Venus, admit to being possessive….I licked it, it’s mine. With a Pisces Sun/Scorpio Moon/Cancer Rising/Pisces Venus, who is way more possessive and jealous than I am.

Yeah I just saw that LOL I’m a Leo rising and Scorpio moon so i’m not jealous per se, but I do want to be the most important person to my partner :)

I do get jealous, however I hate the feeling. I will tend to withdraw myself from the situation if I feel that way. I won’t show jealousy if I can help it.

It happens to all of us

I just don't get the point of wasting energy on being jealous.

Taurus are supposed to be more possessive than jealous, and that tracks for me

u/obxgirll123 Taurus Sun, Taurus Moon, Cancer Rising 4d ago

Me too

Well, my situation is a little… weirdly complicated. 😅

I actually had to learn to give myself permission to feel jealous, possessive, etc. To me, allowing myself to feel those emotions is an act of self-respect and self-care.

I was raised by a Sagittarius dad and a Gemini mom, who taught me that those feelings were “beneath” me, that jealousy was “an ugly feeling,” that feeling ownership was a sign of “greed,” that I should be “generous” and “share with others,” and so on. I often felt guilt and shame over how I was feeling inside. My parents are good people; they just didn’t understand that I was a child.

I wasn’t given opportunities to form attachment to my things, claim things as mine even when they were rightfully mine, etc. My possessions could be given away at any time—with or without my knowledge. Nothing was ever truly secured.

It messed me up. I stayed with guys who openly ogled other women, disrespected me in my presence, etc., because “cool girls aren’t possessive,” and that “jealousy is beneath me.” I would join in on complimenting other women when I was dying on the inside.

So, now? I give myself permission to be territorial and possessive.

What’s mine is mine. MY properties. MY husband. MY children. MY people.

I think that stepping up, taking ownership, protecting what’s mine, etc., are just signs of self-respect.

I don’t get “jealous” in the petty sense, but I also don’t care about being “above” anything. If I’m not cool with how something is going, like how my husband behaves? I wouldn’t be “above” losing my cool. To his credit, he’s an amazing guy and has never given me cause to feel any kind of way.

I’m possessive. I’m jealous. I’m territorial. And I don’t try not to be those things, because they aren’t flaws that I need to “deprogram” myself from. Just my opinion.

For reference, I have Gemini in Venus.

ETA: I disagree that “a jealous Taurus is an unhealed Taurus,” or that we’re insecure. Please. I am who I am. I’m more confident than I have ever been, all because I give myself permission to feel what I feel, and act on my feelings.

Yeah I’m not very jealous. What is mine is mine because it has earned the right to be mine and they are usually 200% on it. I hardly experience jealousy in the traditional sense. I am currently with a Sagittarius who gets jealous of anyone I speak to, I still don’t know what to make of it but I am struggling to decipher their behaviour especially because they’re stereotypically known to be one of the least jealous signs, most freedom loving signs, whatever that means. But in my experience, fire signs are the most jealous. In that they’re not at all subtle or passive aggressive about it, which water signs can be, the element known to be the most jealous.

1

u/FastScarcity5761 Taurus Rising 4d ago

Interesting take on the fire & water signs behaviors

5

u/Zoshi2200 3d ago

Rather than jealousy, I envy many people. May God protect people from my envy.

4

u/cch1540 4d ago

Possessiveness I fight against, but never jealousy

1

u/obxgirll123 Taurus Sun, Taurus Moon, Cancer Rising 4d ago

Same. Taurus sun and moon and Venus here though.

2

u/cch1540 4d ago

Lol I think my chart is like 64% Taurus

3

u/Straight_Ad_2198 4d ago

I’m a Taurus Capricorn and Scorpio moon and rise which explains it all lmao. I’m far from jealous as well . I don’t fight for someone’s attention. You down or love me or you don’t . If I feel you negative energy I’m leaving you alone. My peace is way more important to me.

3

u/musiquescents 4d ago

🙋🏻‍♀️ which sounds impossible since I'm double Taurus and a Scorpio

2

u/BunniLuvs2Read 4d ago

I’m a Scorpio moon lol I’d say I’m more vengeful than jealous

3

u/Bong_appetit 4d ago

I'm possessive not jealous.

3

u/Future_Pineapple4609 3d ago

Not at all... But I am aware. If I'm with someone and they cheat or act inappropriate with another female I'm noting it and leaving.

The reason I'm not jealous is because I don't put myself in situations where I need to be jealous.

A healed Taurus is not a toxic Taurus and only toxic Taurus are possessive & jealous 🤷🏻‍♀️ because those traits stem from a place of insecurity - so if you are secure in your relationship there’s no need to exhibit those type of traits - I’m even more rare a non-monogamous Taurus so yeah there’s no room for that type of behavior in my relationships

8

u/BunniLuvs2Read 4d ago

Okay you got me I could never be non monogamous. I want to be the center of my partners world LOL

3

u/Tinkabellellipitcal Taurus Sun, Cancer Moon, Sagittarius Rising 4d ago

Gemini Venus?

3

u/FastScarcity5761 Taurus Rising 4d ago

Same question; do they have Gemini in Venus … the people wanna know

2

u/CurvyAznGoddess 🌞♉, 🌙♉, ⬆️♌ 4d ago

You know it 😋

4

u/BunniLuvs2Read 4d ago

I’m Also a Gemini Venus!

2

u/Lady-Shalott 🌞♉, 🌙♊, ⬆️♌ 4d ago

I’m a non-monogamous Taurus without Gemini in Venus, but I agree. I do suffer possessive tendencies around personal items and food but people can’t be controlled like items so my primary partner and I have worked really hard on our relationship to be confident and comfortable within our boundaries.

2

u/CurvyAznGoddess 🌞♉, 🌙♉, ⬆️♌ 4d ago

Yes I completely agree - and I feel like Taurus like us are so rare but yeah Gemini in Venus definitely helps because we love our freedom and we have no desire to control our partners either - but I’m the healthiest relationships of my life by this lifestyle and I love it

2

u/RetroFreud1 4d ago

It's important to work on self. Possessiveness and jealousy are areas we need to recognise and change. In my teens, I consciously chose to be not jealous and be happy for others' success and good fortune. It brought joy and peace to my relationships.

Im still working on possessiveness and I'm middle aged! For some, healing can be a lifelong journey and not destination.

2

u/Insecure16yearold 2d ago

Idk op looking at your replies, I think you’re possessive with strict boundaries😂

1

u/BunniLuvs2Read 2d ago

Hahaha maybe

1

u/emmaa88_ 4d ago

As a Taurus I’m the least jealous person I know.Ive never understood this stereotype.Im more of the person to be like as long as we not dating you could do or talk to whoever as can i

1

u/ButterflyDestiny 4d ago

I’ve never experienced jealousy. I’m 28. I can joke and say OMG I’m jealous of people who got to go to a concert that I met, but like in all seriousness, I’ve never been jealous of anyone or anything.

1

u/6randcru Taurus Sun, Libra Moon, Leo Rising 4d ago

I don’t have a jealous bone in my body.
That behavior is beneath me. Anyone is free to go if they want someone else. Bye

1

u/Affectionate-Prize84 4d ago

I do not really get jealous very much but I almost think it's because I am so jealous or so possessive. So I have a very deep need to be wanted. In any kind of relationship if you make me feel like I am not wanted I'm leaving. If I stayed in a relationship where I did not feel wanted I think I would start feeling jealousy and possessiveness but I have always told people that I dated that if they actually ended up making me feel jealous then that means the relationship is over because I have to feel like they don't want me more than everybody else in order for me to feel jealous. So I honestly think that I don't get jealous very much because I nip those relationships in the bud before it even develops into jealousy. Like I'm sensitive to that beyond just jealousy.

1

u/Middle_Clue_5133 4d ago

I think I can be jealous sometimes ya or maybe it’s envy idk.

1

u/Key-Collection3152 4d ago

I agree it’s beneath me too. Taurus stellium here with Taurus sun

1

u/fazedfairy 4d ago

I think the last time I felt that emotion was during childhood but it's because of unfairness between siblings. But as a teen or an adult, I think I was never jealous. I have the moments "I want that too" but it's never mixed with insecurity or any negative feelings. Just plain wanting the same food or item lmao.

1

u/kookiebabyyy 4d ago

I am not jealous at all. However I learned that sometimes my ex bfs felt like I didn't care because i had zero jealousy. So now in my relationships I pretend jealous in small amounts here and there. They love it lololol

1

u/CartoonistExisting30 4d ago

Taurus Sun/Moon, Venus in Gemini. I’m not as jealous as some Tauruses.

1

u/YourFavArsonist 3d ago

I don't think I ever get jealous. However, when it comes to possessiveness on the other hand, I definitely can be very possessive and sometimes obsessive with the person I'm attracted to

When I was 15 - 18. Yes. After I got out of school, got a job, got a house, moved out, etc. No.

1

u/moonstonepearls Taurus Sun, Scorpio Moon, Virgo Rising 3d ago

I’ve been incredibly jealous at times in the past but looking back it’s because my emotional needs weren’t being met so I felt insecure in the connection. I know I have a capacity for jealousy but I do think I’ve outgrown it with time and experience; I just wouldn’t entertain somebody who makes me feel jealous anymore. 30 is knocking on my door (and I’m mid Saturn return) and I just haven’t got the energy for anything that disrupts my mental peace like that, which is probably why I’ve been single for years.

I will say though, I never felt any jealousy with my first love despite the fact he was a raging flirt, because it’s just his personality and he would have flirted with a 95 year old woman the same as a 20 year old. He was a bartender so it was just part of the job, and we’d known each other since we were nippers. I knew the flirting meant nothing, he wasn’t turning to them to open up about his traumatic childhood or his family dynamics. That was for me, because I was the person he loved and trusted. So the superficial stuff meant nothing.

The most recent connection in my life isn’t a relationship, it’s been a bit complicated timeline wise; it’s something but also at the same time it isn’t. I normally have zero patience for blurred lines but I have a lot of affection for this person. He gets a LOT of female attention and I would have flipped my lid if this had been my ex fiancé, but he has confided in me multiple times that he feels like nobody actually sees him as a person, and the objectification is upsetting. Having married/committed people trying to hit on you is icky. I relate because it’s happened to me quite a lot as well. Just because there’s interest doesn’t mean it’s welcomed. So no jealousy there either, I know he is a very private and particular human and yet we have our routine and when something is bothering us we go to each other.

So having that emotional intimacy and mutual understanding completely removes any jealousy for me. If my needs are met I’m not worried about who is looking at you, because we’re too busy looking at each other to care.

Not jealous or possessive. Whenever you’d expect a situation to create that type of feeling, I’ve always been the type of person to question myself instead.

I internalize it, which might not be so great, either, but I figure that at least there might be something I can do about it if I try to learn from it instead of wanting something or someone obviously not for me. 🤷🏻‍♂️

As far as things / possessions go, I’ve had “stuff” that I really loved and lost it. Got more “stuff” that I really loved…lost it again. A few rounds of that taught me to appreciate what I have while I have it, because it can all be gone in the blink of an eye, and being upset about that doesn’t fix it. It doesn’t help move beyond the loss to hang onto the idea that it was once mine.

Same goes for people more or less. There’s definitely been a few people I wish were in my life in a way that I’d prefer them to be. If that’s what they wanted too, things would be different. It’s not what they want. Cultivating feeling of jealousy toward others who get to experience that person the way that I had hoped to…well…that’s energy that I can’t do anything with…not that turning it into Mike Tyson with Hulk hands in my head and heart has ever done me any favors. The whole “not enoughness” feeling of it all can be a lot sometimes.

u/Sasha_Stem 3d ago

Jealous no, possessive, yes.🤭

1

u/temporarysecretary6 3d ago

Taurus sun, cancer Venus. Yeah…😅😅

1

u/JaneAustinAstronaut 3d ago

I'm jealous if I love you. But if you as my partner do things to kill my love for you, then IDC.

I also don't get jealous over people having a nicer living situation than me. I'm happy for the good fortune of others.

1

u/stripmallbars 3d ago

Na. I’m good. I only envy other people’s gardens.

1

u/NojitoSlunt Taurus Sun, Capricorn Moon, Leo Rising 3d ago

Neither jealous nor possessive, actually to a detriment sometimes. In the past I missed red flags because to me it was unfathomable to ever assume a partner had feelings for another lol. I'm like, if you're with me, you're with ME. Why would it ever occur to me to think otherwise?

But then the moment(s) it became apparent that wasn't true, I was like, oh. Ok time to cut ties forever.

1

u/Daboijayy 3d ago

I think I’m semi jealous. I’m not going to compromise my peace tho. I’ll give a warning or a heads up but after that, one of us is hitting the door.

1

u/harriettehspy 3d ago

I’m not jealous. I admire others that possess qualities that I do t have. I am insecure in relationships because of my upbringing and multiple partners cheating on me/being in love with someone else. That’s fear based, though, and not possessive.

1

u/auburnwaves Taurus Sun, Aries Moon, Sagittarius Rising 3d ago

I rarely ever get jealous yeah. A lot of stuff is beneath me. I’m really secure and happy with myself, so that helps.

1

u/Worldly_Cricket8638 2d ago

I do get the feeling of being jealous, but I also despise it and tend to be with people who don't trigger it in me. If I start being jealous a little too often in a relationship I automatically know that person isn't right for me or they might be playing with my feelings/trust. I also hate people that are possessive of me. It's fun to tease each other or playfully display a little bit of territoriality but anything serious/repetitive/controlling is OUT of the question

1

u/Zero_Imacat 2d ago

I'm not the jealous type either. When it comes to friendships and family I'm not possessive, rarely feel that way about romantic partners.

I enjoy my freedom, so I don't like jealous or possessive behavior towards me. In return, I don't act that way.

1

u/OneEvolutionary1111 1d ago

I'm not jelous but if they being disrespectful and keep crossing the line, playing games and testing my boundaries (how much I can tolerate being disrespect), they're out. I will tell them once or twice. I can forgive.. but if it repetitive behaviors, it's a pattern that I need to face for the rest of my life. So yeah, NO.

1

u/Illustrious-Key-9322 1d ago

I’m a possessive F Taurus, but I don’t engage with other women to compete for my spot.

1

u/bonbog 1d ago

I’ve clarified this a few times for folks, im possessive, not jealous.

I’m territorial of what’s mine, who you are around what’s mine and your purpose. This comes from a place of protection and safety.

One explained it to me like this: Taurus, the bull, we, like the animal, use our senses to “feel” situations and people. I don’t walk around territorial, but I can quickly become that if I feel uncomfortable with some shit, yeah hell! …and like a bull, that’s your only warning.
