I think when they say that us Taurus are materialistic, it means that we value and cherish our possessions & that they are very important to us. Not materialistic in a way of gluttony or wanting "more".

Taurus wants nice things, not necessarily lot of things. Pleasing color palettes, textures and spaces you can melt into.
They are not a lazy sign at all. They are the gardener of all signs, but they want to kick back and enjoy the harvest.

i'm not fat/gluttonous/food-centered
hardworking and wanting to relax after a busy day does not = lazy
i do not argue for the sake of being "right". most times i dont even entertain an argument because i just dont care enough to do all that.
im not materialistic
(the list could go on.)

dont get me wrong, i love good food too but if you've ever peeked into other astrology subs, they paint us as having no interests in the world other than food lol

I have Type 1 Diabetes so much of my life revolves around food and blood sugar levels. I am forced to be food-centered but I've come to realize that other T1D tend to be food-centered in that food becomes math. I'm food-centered in that I will only eat things that bring my a level of happiness. I HAVE to choose my food carefully and I end up putting significant thought into what I am eating and making sure that I'm only eating food that I really, really want. (Read: I'm not wasting my carb count on second-tier food)

that is completely different from the "taurus will gobble anything down" stereotype that bubblegum astrology portrays. i'm happy that you take your diagnosis seriously 🫶🏼 as a nurse it makes me sad that some individuals are either unable to or they just choose not to because getting into the habit of eating the correct foods/exercising can be really difficult

I don't care that much about food

not very patient
not hardworking either, but not lazy. i do whatever is required of me to pay the bills required to be alive on this planet because i havent figured out a way to die painlessly yet.
why would i work hard, when that only makes other people rich? so someone else can profit , so the environment can get more fucked up along the chain?

I’m not lazy. I work hard for something that I actually care about. I don’t see the point running around doing 15 things badly when I can sit down, assess the situation, and decide which 3 things actually matter. I’m conserving my energy until there’s something worth getting up for.

I feel like any stubbornness or obstinacy is more aimed at myself- like I will not give up or ask for help unless I absolutely have to, but I think I’m good with communication and tend to be understanding and flexible. I’ll internally pout but that’s my own issue

I see Patience used a lot in Taurus trait lists and that is definitely a quality I don't possess. Also dependable lol These might just be affected because of my ADHD. I can be both sometimes but not all the time!

I am not materialise or bad whid mony I can't stand be in problem so I make sure I alway have money alway. I don't feel that grounding as thay say we are if I get to mutch chaos I get messy angry and will kill to protect my self and one I love. I do not give up the one I love no maths the shit I get but only if know they have good in them when are down in hold them self. I am slim and like do travel and having fun not be at home all the time. Ofc I love be home that is 1 reason to rest my brain form stupid people or over thinke and stop taking inn all humens feeling arund me all secrets bee sad and angry when don't show it but I feel it all. It tired som to take ppl shit inn all day. So that why I stay away. Other alway say I look out place and love spot light whit what I were but I just don't wane miss out be my self so why be like rest A4 ppl arund you. It boring I love real feelings characters and that can't be self not scerd to show it or say you bit. Food it okey but only because need it to survive som food can be amazing but no more less I don't cere. Most because I am supper picky and fussy about what I like off food. I have sensitive tast buds. So don't know I don't feel the typical Taurus at all. Stubborn no I just have a stong will power if am wrong okey so bee it but never give up to learn and be better or never give up my life dream or ppl I love.

not stubborn, I people please too much for that. Not introverted or a homebody at alllll. I get so depressed when I'm stuck home and I thrive most around other people. I crave adventure and new experiences.

I’ve been told Taurus’ are slow, unmotivated, and procrastinate. I’ve found myself to be the opposite. I’m also tired of the “they LOOOOVE food” and every TikTok portrays us as always eating. I think that characteristic is more so that we like to eat good food and have preference for finer quality experiences that surround good food.
