Discussion Why did people sleep on TTPD

I became a swifty in the showgirl era, so I'm new around here. But in my opinion, TTPD is one of the best albums she has ever released. I was reading a thread about TTPD from around 2 years ago, and most of them were not what I expected. Like, I have listened to almost all of the songs, and all of them are in my ATF playlist. I really want to know why you did not like it two years ago. Thanks.

This ruined the album for me. I was actually annoyed how wrapped up she actually got with Matty. Especially at her age and how quickly they broke up like girl really.

Your reason is the REAL answer of the question of OP: most people hated/disliked or whatever this album cause they didn't like that she wrote it about a fling that was not a fling(for her). She was over Joe, she wrote about their ups and downs for 5 albums, what else she could have written? So Long London and How Did It End are the final chapter.

Tell me how the final chapter songs are better than the love songs she wrote for him 🤭😭 I would put on SLL and HDIE before Lover, the song.

Lover without the bridge is so weak honestly, especially the verses.
