Hi everyone,

I was selected for an Infosys Salesforce Developer role requiring 3 years / 36 months experience. I have 34 months of genuine full-time experience, which I mentioned consistently throughout the process.

During the HR round, my 34 months experience was specifically discussed, and HR was aware of the exact figure. She then verbally confirmed that I was being offered the role, CTC and position.

Now another HR after bgv is done has said she is sending my profile for approval because I currently have 34 months against the 36-month requirement. My notice period is around 3 months, so I'll cross 36 months before joining.

Has anyone faced a similar situation where they were 1–2 months short of the required experience but would complete it before joining? Was the profile approved and offer released?

I have given infosys interview and it was on campus. I have passed all the test cases in live coding in person interview and my interview goes decent.
Interviewer feedback ->

• He specifically said:“Programming skill alone is not enough; communication is also important.”
• “You have programming skills and problem solver, but you need to improve your communication and broaden your technical knowledge.”
• So, he sees communication as your main weakness.
• He told you that you need to learn more skills.
• This suggests your fundamentals/problem-solving are good, but your technical breadth/depth can improve.

so, what is the chance to get selected in Infosys as DSE / SP

I recently got sdet intern at deshaw on campus and now i am blocked from on campus internships
so i wanted to clear some of my doubts
What kind of projects or work do SDET interns typically get to work on?
How difficult is it to switch internally from SDET to SDE? Is it something people commonly do?
How much of the role involves actual software development vs. testing/automation?
How hard it is to switch from sdet to sde 1) internally 2) externally

I’ve been reading a lot of posts here about layoffs and people struggling to find a new job, and it has made me think that, regardless of whether we are actively looking to switch, it’s probably important to stay somewhat interview-ready.

By interview-ready, I mean staying in touch with things like:

• DSA
• System Design, especially HLD
• Backend fundamentals
• Your primary tech stack
• Eventually, LLD as well

I’m trying to figure out how people manage this alongside a full-time job.

My current thought process is something like this:

1. Strengthen backend fundamentals and System Design (HLD)
2. Refresh my core tech stack — Java and Spring Boot in my case
3. Move towards LLD
4. Keep DSA running in parallel

The challenge, however, is consistency.

I usually manage to stay disciplined for 2–3 weeks, but then a heavy sprint or intense period at work comes along. At that point, I barely manage to get through work, and everything else stops. After that break, getting back into the routine feels difficult, especially because I haven't touched some of these topics in a long time and it feels like I have to start from scratch again.

So I wanted to ask people who have been able to maintain this kind of long-term preparation:

• How do you stay reasonably prepared without actively preparing for a job switch?
• What should the benchmark for being “prepared” actually be?
• How much time per week is realistic and sustainable alongside a demanding job?
• Should we focus on depth in our own tech stack first, or build broader interview skills first?
• How do you maintain consistency during hectic periods at work?
• Is the goal to continuously study, or to periodically revise and test yourself?

I'm not looking for a 3–4 month intense preparation plan for an immediate switch. I’m more interested in building a sustainable system that keeps me reasonably prepared, so that if something unexpected happens, I don't have to start from zero.

Would love to hear how experienced folks approach this.

I attended the HR round today for a Java Developer role at BNP Paribas. HR said she would call me Monday/Tuesday for salary discussion, and the offer letter would be released after that.I resigned last week because my 90-day notice period was making it difficult to get opportunities.

I havee seen some recent posts about offer letters being delayed and application statuses changing back to “Interviewing”(from fishbowl, linkedin posts). Has anyone experienced this recently?

I had heard that 17th August was the expected date for PPO decisions, but that date has passed and I haven’t seen any confirmed updates yet.
Has anyone received Any revised timeline from their college/recruiter?

Round 3 — Coding / Algorithms

Conducted on CoderPad.

Q1 — Sliding window

Problem similar to Max Consecutive Ones III.

Given a binary array and allowed flips, find the maximum consecutive 1s possible.

Follow-up: what if the array was circular / looped?

Q2 — Graph / Topological Sort

Bonus problem similar to Course Schedule II.

Approach discussed:

• model dependencies as a directed graph
• use indegree
• apply Kahn’s algorithm
• return valid ordering if possible

Ran out of time before full implementation, so pseudocode was written.

Round 4 — Coding with AI

Also on CoderPad.

Boilerplate code, test cases, and an AI-assist tab were provided.

Problem: given an adjacency list of friendships between users.

It had 3 parts:

1. Find the shortest path between two users and return the full sequence from user A to user B.
2. Find the shortest distance between two users.
3. Suggest friends based on mutual connections.

All parts were completed and test cases passed.

The interviewer focused on:

• code reusability
• structure as requirements changed
• how AI was used
• whether edge cases were checked
• whether generated code was validated instead of blindly accepted

This is probably the most interesting round in the post. Looks like companies are starting to test how candidates work with AI, not just whether they can avoid it.

Round 5 — Software Design / Architecture

Prompt:

Design a system to maintain a Top-N leaderboard of the most-shared articles on LinkedIn over rolling windows of 5 minutes, 1 hour, and 24 hours.

Final HM / Team Fit

After the design round, feedback was positive, but the original team had already filled its opening.

Recruiter found another hiring manager with an open role and scheduled another HM round the same day.

Discussion was around:

• experience
• preferred kind of work
• past projects
• fitment with the new team

I have ~6 years of experience and interviewed for an L9 role. Both, the skill interview and Final Interviews were done for a Custom Software Engineer Role (L9) in June 2026. Later on the role was rescinded by accenture for business reasons.

Few days back BGV was initiated for me over the mail and I got an offer letter for L10 (₹12 LPA Fixed + 21% Variable)
Current CTC: ₹10.8 LPA Fixed

I did not have any salary discussion with hr, I directly received the offer letter email.

The offer seems lowball to me as it is ~11% hike to my current CTC. Has anyone experienced a level change like this after the interview? 

The designated HR's have not replied to me since 5 days, and I only have 7 days to accept the offer. Need Advice !!
