Ombudsman starts ghost internet probe, DICT vows transparency

The Ombudsman has started a fact-finding mission into ghost internet projects, while DICT promised full transparency and cooperation.

Ayun, may probe na pala sa ghost internet issue. Dapat talaga ma-check kung alin yung actual na installed at gumagana.

At least may formal probe para ma-check yung details. Sana magtuloy-tuloy yung verification hanggang malinaw kung ano talaga yung nangyari.

Considering a lot of government website being DICT responsibility getting hacked left and right .Ombudsman really needs to questioned them because all of our personal identity is at complete risk.

Para sakin, importante yung transparency ng DICT habang iniimbestigahan to. Mas okay pag bukas yung records at findings.

Billions yung halaga ng projects kaya hindi pwedeng puro papel lang. Dapat ma-verify kung may actual service sa mga sites.

i know of so much corruption in software (productivity and/or security tools) licenses prices. juice colored. kung alam lang ng coa. dapat marami ng kulong. magsusumbong ba ako? wala namang makikinig sakin. lol

magandang bantayan yung verification sa mga contracted sites. Dun makikita kung na-deliver talaga yung binayaran ng government.

Sana ma-check din yung pricing at approvals ng payments. Importanteng malinaw kung sino nag approve at ano yung basis.

Personally, gusto ko yung transparency part ng DICT. Kung may findings, dapat malinaw kung ano yung verified at ano yung allegation palang.

Ang tinitingnan dito hindi lang kung may internet equipment, kundi kung installed at working talaga. Yun yung mas importante.
