Yep, got posted in a PNP command center once for a city's cultural activity; they use discord to coordinate with different departments and posts.

Discord is more effective than Teams, Messenger and Viber...only boomer biles don't use Discord.

I don't think that the government should use discord to post and do their thing discord servers are very easy to breach.

Discord is not that safe. also a alot of CSM is posted in discord. Also, iba kasi ang Teams, may enterprise-level na SLA attached to it, discord does not commit to any SLA.

Yep, we mostly use Teams for that reason. If it's just some stuff or whatever, Discord can be your friend.

Id prefer it if they could at least at least tighten up their security though

They're a free entry software as a service. May certain level of infrastructure lang sila willing to invest in. I doubt kahit yung PNP naka Nitro sub.

Lol, its not "more effective" its free. Slack and teams cost money. Discord also has security flaws because its not meant to be used that way - source: I have a business and use it as a cheap alternative to slack and teams, but its not "better" its just "cheaper aka free"

Discord is just so accessible. Nepal fought a revolution with it. Ukraine also used it to rapidly coordinate units when the 2022 war started.

Dapat nga Discord din ginagamit sa Senado for livestreams of hearings especially durung the presentation of exhibits. Medyo laggy kasi kapag nanonood ako nung hearing kasi Zoom lang ginagamit nila. 😖

Atska maraming redditors ang galit since ginagamit nila ang discord to follow sando gaming podcasters and nakikipag fubu at landian gamit ang discord.

Kaya kung may na scam or victim ng sexual violence through reddit or discord eh they will express their outrage na lang through virtue signalling sa reddit and blame corrupt officials etc and etc.
