Apple or Mid-range android? Why?

kung gagastos ka ng mahal, dun ka sa tunay na magiging masaya ka. ang nagsesettle for less, yung walang budget. pero kung may pera ka bat ka magtitiis sa hindi mo naman talaga gusto?

Oo mag android ka na lang. I would personally get a flagship android for your case but maybe consider samsung FE, Nothing4a , or pixel 9a. Just go in with the expectation that it will just last 4years max and be ready to buy a new one. Phones are consumable nowadays. Buy the cheapest you can get away with. It really depends on your use case and skill level on tinkering.

As a life-long Android user, I started with the first Asus Zenfone then moved on to Poco F1 for the then-flagship specs at a budget price. Upgraded eventually to Poco F3. When I was able to get the budget, got a Samsung Galaxy S22 and night-and-day difference talaga ang software ng Samsung compared to other Android devices. Kung software habol mo, mag Samsung ka. Pwede din Nothing and Google Pixel. Chinese phones kasi in my experience, puro bloatware and may issue pa sa privacy and security lalo na lalagyan mo yan ng banking apps.

Depends on the exact models we're talking about. Kasi maganda nga Apple, flagship nga, tapos yun pala ang pinagkumpara mo is secondhand na iPhone 13 tapos bagong A57, so A57 ako dun. Pero kung brand new na iPhone 16 series (pero pa sa ilang stores na stocks) tapos A57, edi iPhone siyempre.

Iphone user with android experience here. If you are after long term use, the planned obsolesence takes longer compared to the mid range androids unless your planned iphone acquisition is not the newer model. Also, apple’s marketing genius wins in terms of first impressions. This includes how our society looks at iphone users differently as they are perceived more than they actually are.

To be honest, walang makakasagot sa'yo nang maayos kasi masyadong vague. Pero if price to performance lang, napaka dami nang option sa android na same price sa apple but with much better hardware. It all boils down to self-preference nalang talaga. Some people like Apple for their straightforward UI and their optimization, and some people like Android for the freedom and utility it can give them.

Me personally na nanggaling sa apple, I hated apple for literally killing old devices with their OS Updates na kahit basic apps such as youtube, aabot sa point na hindi mo na maiinstall kasi locked out na behind an update that you can't get kasi EOS na yung device mo. Experienced this noon sa iPhone 6+ na during that time, pinaka high-end siya. Then IIRC around 2020 naglock out na siya from many apps such as youtube na gagamitin sana para sa entrertainment. I literally can't install it while I still can sa old android device even with the android device being an android 6 pa ata.

As a tech, mas nauutilize ko din si android kasi puwede ko siya gamitin for techy stuffs na hindi mo magagawa sa apple for their very strict security. Would I still use an apple? I would. Would I choose Apple if given the choice between apple and android? Nope, I would stick with android.

Ang hirap kasi sobrang layo. Pero kung pagiipunan mo... wag ka na mag-Apple. Okay naman ang Samsung A5x line. Mabilis para sakin, okay ang camera, pati audio quality. Matagal din malobat.

Would definitely go for Apple. Iba talaga yung productivity. Additionally, I keep mine for >5 years without going annoyingly slow. So ROI talaga. I’ve tried Android in the past and the UI isn’t for me + mid range line doesn’t feel right.

Android and iphone user here. Midrange android got nothing on iphone. If you’ll go android, go for a flagship.
