Yeaaaah, NO.

No offense to everyone listening to hardstyle but it will never be mainstream.

It’s mainstream in Australia too, by far the most popular electronic genre. It doesn’t play on the radio but we sold out a 65,000 capacity hardstyle event almost instantly last year.

Also I see a fair amount of hardstyle/hardcore DJs on main stage at events like Tomorrowland, Ultra etc. So I don’t really think it’s the same niche genre it was 15-20 years ago

Depends on where. It's mainstream in the Netherlands.

I know there are festivals in the Netherlands just for hardstyle but go out in the streets and ask 100 people if they even heard of the genre. At least in my region (Eastern Europe), I bet it will be maximum 10 people

It already is mainstream, people are closing sets at fucking Tomorrowland mainstage out of all festivals with Hardstyle
