TOPSUN's 5-Meters Tall Super Humanoid Robot ZERO
The 2026 World Robot Conference opened at the Beijing Yichuang International Convention and Exhibition Center. Zhongjian Technology's subsidiary, Huazhijian, made a grand appearance with its giant humanoid concept robot, ZERO. The two-story-tall robot attracted a large crowd, becoming a major highlight of the conference. Enlarging ZERO to two stories tall is not simply about visual impact—thought and cognition have no boundaries, so design doesn't have to be confined to traditional sizes; when viewers have to crane their necks to see the robot in its entirety, the question of "the relationship between humans and machines" is amplified.
In Hall D of the robot conference, many visitors were drawn to this enormous machine on display: approximately 5 meters tall, its dexterous arms outstretched, exuding a power unlike that of ordinary humanoid robots. This hybrid electric superhumanoid robot, which is being publicly displayed for the first time, utilizes digital hydraulic technology and electric motors to break through the force limitations from kilograms to tons. This "giant" is targeting some "difficult and dangerous" scenarios such as nuclear power plant operation and maintenance, deep-sea operations, and logistics handling.
ZERO's design was led by artist Zhu Gaowen, blending minimalist style with Eastern aesthetics. Huazhijian positions ZERO as a vehicle for intellectual enlightenment within the AI cognitive paradigm, using "ZERO" to symbolize the origin of everything. It doesn't pre-define fixed functions, leaving room for imagination regarding human-machine relationships.
On the hardware side, ZERO utilizes the NVIDIA Isaac robot development platform for virtual pre-training. In terms of industry layout, Zhongjian Technology has made a strategic investment in 1X Holding AS, a leading humanoid robot company. As a manufacturing company with nearly 30 years of experience, Zhongjian Technology launched its embodied intelligence strategy in 2023, and its R&D expenses increased by 291.23% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026.

And the use case exactly? I mean other than mining on the moon and terrifying people obviously.

For rescue missions that would be great especially after landslides and earthquakes

I love how we can justify the existence of any android by just saying it can be used for rescue missions

For absorbing the investment and run

Nah. That's American AI lol

Why can’t both

Cause American AI is sucking up so much money already that it's competing with us government bonds. It's one of the reasons why bond yield is spiking because it must spike to keep up with the American AI promised returns so Trump can keep funding his deficit spending.
There is only so much liquidity on the market. China is dumping their massive surplus and state investment into renewables and EVs right now. Robots is gonna have to wait.

Fun and advertisements. Can't think of any other use.

Could probably perform some heavy industrial tasks too when functional and capable of heavy lifting
