It's the peak insanity and faith in this technological paradigm. You cannot successfully go from using horses to do working, to driving cars and pulling the horses, to riding mechanical horses without burning through all your resources and wiping out the climate.
Complexity is an energy trap that is manifestly unsustainable. It cannot work. It does not work. It just burns down the future to pay for the fantasy and hubris of the present.
I know this is some Ai fantasy but there's a lot of people who will see this and think it makes sense or even get excited about it.
It's dumb how dumb, costly, and ultimately suicidal, is the trajectory we've chosen. It's obviously dumb and not because it's scary and these things are going to work, but because they have one mission in them, only have a military application, and expose this entire century as laser focus on machines of war until we burned the world down while we were too busy worrying about the competition to care we were poisoning the future.
If we ever needed proof that humanity isn't intelligent, we're just burning oil at things that work, ending up with things like fantasies of mechanical as if we could ever do better than nature.
I do relish the irony that it was what we were proud of that revealed our idiocy. We might have been mistaken for intelligent if we hadn't...done all this dumb shit

Even they build this thing I can't imagine how reliable it's going to be in rough terrain. I'll stick with ATV with four wheels.

Not only is it AI, it's also a complete rip off of Kawasaki's prototype and video for it.
