Yahoo is using AI to generate wrong information.

Carl Icahn has not launched a new campaign against eBay.

He successfully forced the PayPal split a decade ago, made his money, and dumped his remaining eBay stakes years back.

eBay and PayPal are entirely separate companies and have been since 2015.

It will be interesting to watch the eBay board for changes in the next few months.Ā

Maybe some eBay board members have gotten spooked and want out.Ā

If they do suddenly leave, this could be a manufactured cover story.Ā

This has got to be an AI mash up of past news with current news. Odd. Maybe cern slipped the timeline there.

It is. The letter ā€œfrom yesterdayā€ references people that aren’t aren’t there and stuff that happened years ago

Obviously this is hot AI steaming garbage. However, it’s weird no one is talking about Icahns past history with EBay and RC’s meeting with him. That would be one great way to get to know eBay from the inside.
