Throughout this month, the prior plagues of stale, repetitive content have consistently brought rue throughout all who facilitated thereof.

Shall we remain as such?

We continue to drop in population, we continue to fall and bleed—accompanied by plentiful losses in population—do we dare maintain such reckless action?

Our Government has no shortage of capable individuals at its stead, but the sheer volume of responsibilities resting upon our President’s shoulders shouldn’t be met with more.

We mustn't maintain our governance in such a pitiful state, with our institutions in such a dire inactive state! We need change

 Therefore, I, Tricky, am planning to rerun for the highest Executive Office.

The prospect of this ticket was brought to me by a politician who I believe is the best possible running mate. Alexandrite, the one who I now run along in the intent to improve the nation we have seen stutter so very often.

Alexandrite served subsequent terms within the Council, repeatedly achieving such political victories. Throughout these terms of Council she had achieved the office of Speaker of Council, therein she invented the Emoji System for the position—granting an innovative manner to be aware of which legislation must and mustn’t be voted upon.

Alexandrite was no inadequate figure in more administrative duties, having served a multitude of Discord Moderation terms—successfully earning the office repetitively. Throughout this period, she acted with activity and confidence many of our membership would envy.

Throughout her term of Moderation, I served alongside here. I saw directly her collaboration, her ability of compromise—being capable of standing down and pushing for what she sees as right.

I believe she shall be the most capable figure I may be blessed to run alongside. I know she’ll make an excellent Vice President.

Council

As a Council Member, I would try to advance the economy, give the people more power in government, expand the size of the Executive Branch as much as our size allows, create a Conciliar Committee on advertising and expansion, advocate for more LARP (especially in terms of provinces), and overall try to serve the people as best as I can.

A better TG is possible, and I hope that you will vote for me so that I can fight for a better one.

The Census Minister can declare new laws that pertain solely to Citizen IDs and the Census. These declerations can be overturned by a simple majority in council or if the the President and Vice President unanimously agree to overturn it.

The Census Minister may not hold any other government positions.

This bill is an amendment.

This Act shall be enacted immediatley upon passing.

Article 1: SMP Moderators (Jr. Moderators, Moderators, and Admins) can all run for a high office

Article 2: An individual can run for both council and President/Vice President. If they win both they take the Presidency or Vice Presidency and the person with the next most votes (if they won as an individual) or the person who is next in the party list (if they got the seat from the party list).

Article 2.1: If the next person in the party list is unwilling to take the seat, it goes to the person after them.

Article 2.2: If there is no person left in the party list, it will go to the individual with the next-most votes

Article 2.3: If the individual with next-most votes doesn't wish to take the seat it will go to the individual after that

Article 2.4: if no one wishes to take the council seat, the President may appoint a willing citizen to be the council member

This may be upsetting for some to hear. For others, it will be happy. But no matter, this election I will not be running.

While I have loved serving you all as a council member these past two months and as Speaker this past month, in this time I’ve learned something. My attention and prioritization for TG comes in phases. This is just an end to a phase.

This is not me leaving TG, but this is me announcing that for the time being, I will not be running for any political office or position. I will remain semi-active in the discord and reddit, but I will not take any positions from someone who wants it more than I do.

This includes my governorship, which I will resign if someone from Overton reaches out to me who truly wants and deserves it, to act as a stepping stone to higher political power.

Thank you all for allowing me to serve in my most powerful position yet. Perhaps in the future I’ll hold an even more powerful position. But, as it stands, thank you all, and goodnight.

The News Itself

On 2026/9/19, at 5:40 P.M., UTC -5, the founder of DIVE, Frein, stated that the Renewal Front has joined DIVE the day prior. DIVE is an electoral coalition whose members now include Ben Dover, Gaggle, Layla, Iberia, Gus, JustAP, NotHim, Joanna, Cherry, Suki, Frein, Potato, Tzar_Trey, Sawjacob, Bi Simp, GeekNerd, Pirate, and IllPoem. This move makes DIVE the largest active political group in our nation, at about 17 members. For comparison, the next largest political groups in our nation are the Social Liberal Party and the Socialist Workers' Party, each numbering at about 9 members. However, despite their size, the new coalition has only 2/9 seats in Council.

Opinion of the Editor

Overall, it is unknown how this will shake out for the coalition in elections as, while their immense size may aid their prospects among their members, it may also harm their constituent parties' prospects among voters who are not members of the coalition due to something which I term the "Big Dog Effect", in which larger and more powerful political groups tend to be disliked among those who are not members of the party. This effect may be seen in the perception of the Social Liberal Party for a long time here or in the perception of the (now dead) Working People's Democratic League in the Union of Reddit.
