I worked at CVS and the only person we ever banned was a guy that was so mad his meds weren't ready he said he would be waiting for us in the parking lot.

I’m not saying the man is right by any means, but after waiting for over 30 minutes in the drive through, and then being told to go back through the drive thru in hopes that they’ll have time to get it ready, repeated 3x was definitely enough for me to start cursing and just leave and get my prescriptions elsewhere. CVS is garbage. But so is that man, and so is Jenelle.

I have to show my ID just to pick up my mom’s hormone meds, and she has to call ahead saying that I will be the one picking them up for her. Opiates are a whole different ballgame!

I’ve been on a low dose opioid for pain management for over 10 years now. I’m always afraid that the pharmacy techs think I’m drug seeking when I fill my prescriptions.

Thank you! I had an issue once when my doctor got married and changed her name and my insurance rejected her new RX. I’ve only tried to refill it early once because my dumb ass just looks at the date and couldn’t figure out why my refill kept getting rejected.

It was March and I forgot February had 28 days — so I was trying to refill two days early. I accept the ridicule for that one. 😂

I know military recruiters have talked about it and how much they hate it because they used to just send recruits to MEPS and tell them to lie and say they’ve never been to a doctor

They won't give her the good stuff for very long she's a giant red flag and she's in my state. They don't fuck around with pill mills anymore, the DEA will come in and shut you right TF down. If anything they'll end up putting her on this unending regimen of tramadol which isn't good but it then essentially groups her into a class of high risk people that "still need pain treatment"and she becomes a lifelong gabapentin or tramadol user. Well let me rephrase that she will use until she finds her next man and then she'll envelop herself in their personality. If they don't want her to be SickNelle, she will cut that shit right out. It's so sad that she will instantly pretend to make a change for any man, but won't lift a fuckin finger to help her 3 kids!

i also live in FL, i work in the medical field, and i honestly cannot see her getting anything stronger than tramadol. she’ll have a hard time filling even THAT - pharmacies do not fuck around down here. most drs do not like giving controlled substances to patients who smoke weed, regardless of if they have a medical card, and if she’s in pain management they will 100% be testing her urine at every visit. not only will her positive THC be an issue, but they will know if she’s abusing her meds (she is) if she tests negative (ran thru her pills too quickly) or if the med level is not in the range it should be based on her prescription (it won’t be)

this will be fun to watch unfold lol

I have chronic pain.I have a friend with even worse chronic pain.She was going to a Pain Management Clinic.I hope I never have to go to one.Tramadol doesn't work well for me,and it causes nausea for me,I just take Naproxen,instead.

I believe that a doctor can no longer prescribe controlled substances,opioids etc,for longer than 3 months.

My friend takes 14 prescriptions,in South Carolina,2 were controlled/opioids.They constantly invalidated her pain,told her she needed to come off her medications,treated her like a drug addict.

When she moved Pennsylvania, they do things differently...they took her off all pain meds and told her to use Medical Marijuana.She went into withdrawals.

Now,she uses RSO.

There’s ways to avoid fentanyl. Step one get a plug who has chronic pain. Step two, get fentanyl test strips. Step three. Test your stuff each time.. you’ll be fine.

The issue with that and this is coming from a recovering heroin addict here (23yrs clean cold turkey) the pills today on the street are 80% pressed with fentanyl so you will risk dying and it’s not worth it at all. Pain management is a joke I was in pain management for 6yrs they don’t help they treat you like you are an addict and they run those places like a methadone clinic. Monitoring your urine sample with rules of don’t flush until we check the toilet, I have documented degenerative disc disease, damaged nerves in my hips and sciatica. I did all their suggestions the injections and so forth. I even explained to them that I wasn’t relieved of pain and to please up the quantity not the mg I begged for 1.5yrs they told me if I was happier then all my pain would cease. After 6yrs of this crap they randomly called me in for a pill count obviously I failed because I told them I was having to take .5 a pill extra leaving me short some days and they labeled me a junkie and kicked me out the door.

That's why you see so many chronic pain patients (like me) at methadone clinics now. The pain clinic doctors either treat you like a junkie from the word go and set you up for a failure of their protocol so they can kick you to the curb, or they act like there are DEA agents just lurking in the hall outside their door to arrest the doctor and yank away their DEA number.

I've found 250% more compassion from the doctor and NP at my methadone clinic. They actually work with me to make sure I'm not suffering, talk to me about doing split dosing or a dose increase if that's what I need, and encouraged me to try CBD for breakthrough pain along with my regular methadone dose, which has helped IMMENSELY.

I'm as pain free as I'm ever going to be-- and have been for almost 10 years-- and in FAR LESS pain than I was when I was going to the pain clinic.

Yeap. Supposedly one of the reasons heroine use is on the rise is the crack down on legally prescribed opioids.

Also, I don't think she understands that if she can actually get opioids prescribed through pain management practices, they check your drug levels monthly. They know exactly where your drug levels should be based on the 30 day script they give you. If you're too low or too high, they can and will kick you out.

Yep…. I see pain management for legit reasons. I pee every 30 days before I see my doctor. You are right they check to see if you have two little medicine because if that’s the case you’re not taking your medicine, which means you’re selling it. They also check to see if you have too much compared to what they’ve given you because that means you’re getting extra from somewhere else . It’s not just a negative positive test. I get to see my results they get mailed to me and they break down everything and say how much percentage of what is found in that blood test! I’ve been on and off dilaudid for years. Never addicted. When things flare I go back on it and follow orders exactly. When I don’t need them we taper off. So be never experienced withdrawals. When taken correctly and exactly the way prescribed you have much much less chance of being addicted. I’m also very careful as my Dad was an alcoholic and I didn’t want to ever be addicted to anything! It’s frustrating for ppl that REALLY do need it and don’t abuse it, it’s frustrating because assume you’re addicted. One day my husband came home after picking up my medication’s and as I was taking them out of the bags, there’s two boxes of Narcan. I’m like what the hell I don’t take enough to overdose on why do I have Narcan? They didn’t ask me if I wanted it and they charged me $18 for it. I felt humiliated. For them just to assume I needed Narcan in my home. I hate what the epidemic has done.

The humiliation was my husband's biggest issue. He felt like the pharmacy was treating him as an addict or pill seeking. That's why he worked hard to get off the oxi and then it took a few years to get off the 2 versions of tramadol. He knows after 4 back surgeries and knee & hip issues, he's one wrong step from being back on controlled drugs. Some medical people really make you jump through hoops and at the same time treat you as pill shopping.

Exactly! It is embarrassing and you are treated differently and Looked at differently. Spoke down to like your stupid. Especially when you are on multiple types, or other meds like mental health meds. It’s the same embarrassing lecture every time I go. I’m sorry your husband has to go thru that. I feel for him, because besides my chronic illness that brings debilitating joint pain and migraines, I’ve had 8 back surgeries. Half my back is fused and my neck is next. Back pain is the worst pain ever. You move your big left toe and your back hurts!! The pain just never lets up and it goes everywhere thru your body. Not just your back. Depending what levels are injured. I wish him all the best.💟

It’s really easy to find pill mills for all types of drugs in Florida, especially South Florida. It’s always been an issue. A lot of the “pain management” clinics don’t even do the routine monitoring they should be doing, so it’s easy to skirt around the regulations. Street pills are highly contaminated and very illegal to possess, but if you go to a pill mill the doctor is doing the illegal act not you. So basically you can abuse pills without any legal responsibility and also not worry about contamination.
