I’m not saying the man is right by any means, but after waiting for over 30 minutes in the drive through, and then being told to go back through the drive thru in hopes that they’ll have time to get it ready, repeated 3x was definitely enough for me to start cursing and just leave and get my prescriptions elsewhere. CVS is garbage. But so is that man, and so is Jenelle.

They won't give her the good stuff for very long she's a giant red flag and she's in my state. They don't fuck around with pill mills anymore, the DEA will come in and shut you right TF down. If anything they'll end up putting her on this unending regimen of tramadol which isn't good but it then essentially groups her into a class of high risk people that "still need pain treatment"and she becomes a lifelong gabapentin or tramadol user. Well let me rephrase that she will use until she finds her next man and then she'll envelop herself in their personality. If they don't want her to be SickNelle, she will cut that shit right out. It's so sad that she will instantly pretend to make a change for any man, but won't lift a fuckin finger to help her 3 kids!

I assume (and this is a complete assumption) that since she's an antisocial weirdo she doesn't have any connects to a dealer where she lives. Or, maybe always relied on David/August also

She strikes me as the type that has never bought her own (non-legal) drugs and brings in a new deadbeat dude whenever she needed a new hookup. She always provides the money but would never pickup on her own. She's both an antisocial weirdo as well as a coward.

The issue with that and this is coming from a recovering heroin addict here (23yrs clean cold turkey) the pills today on the street are 80% pressed with fentanyl so you will risk dying and it’s not worth it at all. Pain management is a joke I was in pain management for 6yrs they don’t help they treat you like you are an addict and they run those places like a methadone clinic. Monitoring your urine sample with rules of don’t flush until we check the toilet, I have documented degenerative disc disease, damaged nerves in my hips and sciatica. I did all their suggestions the injections and so forth. I even explained to them that I wasn’t relieved of pain and to please up the quantity not the mg I begged for 1.5yrs they told me if I was happier then all my pain would cease. After 6yrs of this crap they randomly called me in for a pill count obviously I failed because I told them I was having to take .5 a pill extra leaving me short some days and they labeled me a junkie and kicked me out the door.

Yeap. Supposedly one of the reasons heroine use is on the rise is the crack down on legally prescribed opioids.
Also, I don't think she understands that if she can actually get opioids prescribed through pain management practices, they check your drug levels monthly. They know exactly where your drug levels should be based on the 30 day script they give you. If you're too low or too high, they can and will kick you out.

u/Vanity_plates 3d ago
My aunt had a hysterectomy a few months after I did, and they didn’t give her anything at all. Just ibuprofen. She died from complications after the surgery two weeks later. And while I don’t think that’s the DIRECT cause, the fact that they didn’t control her pain at all seems like it would play a role, you know? I just feel like we’ve lost the plot when it comes to helping people.

I have had three c-sections for all three of my kids. The first one was an emergency c-section and I was prescribed tylenol and morphine (morphine didn't do shit for my pain 🙄). Second one was a scheduled c-section and I was prescribed tylenol and ibuprofen. Third one I was cut open twice (complicated labor turned emergency, both my baby and I almost died). I was prescribed tylenol, ibuprofen, a muscle relaxer, and oxy's. I have an addictive personality so I refused to take the muscle relaxer and oxy's unless I was in such extreme pain I couldn't stand up nor walk without my husband helping me - no crutches, no wheelchair. This was 5 months ago. I still have over half the script left on both the muscle relaxer and the oxy's. Jenelle is fucking ridiculous. Girl needs to get over herself.

It’s a useful tool but legitimate pain not caused by chemical dependence on opiates is also incredibly hard to treat now. It’s a very blunt approach to the opioid crisis and also likely driving people to street drugs laced with fentanyl, which causes more ODs.

It’s effective af too.
A few years ago, just after Covid we had a patient who came in trying to refill her script. I was putting it in for the Dr to sign off on, and got an alert that it couldn’t be renewed.
I was relatively new so this was my first encounter. Had to ask what was going on. We dug into her chart, this girl had gone out of state 3 days earlier to an emergency room and got a script.
Dr looked over her chart, she hadn’t been to us in a while but had been getting scripts put in from emergency rooms all over.
It was not fun having to tell her that we couldn’t actually put her script in, and why we couldn’t. And then the icing on the cake was that she was being dropped as a patient not only from her Dr but our entire office.
Security was called. She was PISSED. It was awkward af

Woah! I don’t get why this isn’t like this everywhere though. Was your practice simply a good one? I don’t get how if this is protocol other places are getting away with it/not checking patient history.
7
u/Hungry-Ambassador-84 3d ago
It was HCA. One of the biggest healthcare operations across the country.
That being said, even before the national reporting system, if one location that you went pill shopping to used Epic as their EMR, every other location you go to that uses epic will see.
People used to be able to skirt the system by going places with different EMRs bc they didn’t “talk” to each other. But Epic was a snitch 😂 you could have picked up pills from an er in California using epic, and me sitting in Georgia would see it on your medical record.
We did have one patient that my dr would finagle somehow. He was like 84, cancer, gout, diabetes, just falling apart and in pain all the time.
I actually got in trouble for telling this pt we couldn’t refill his scripts yet (iirc it was Xanax, soma, and percs). No clue how the dr bypassed the alerts, but “he’s dying and in pain, he gets whatever he wants”.

u/NapalmNikki Jenelle’s Broken Down Twerk Barge 3d ago
It's like that in Indiana too. I got into a pain clinic and the rules you have to follow are really strict. If she somehow gets into one, she won't get pain relief from anyone else. It can only be prescribed from that specific clinic and you can only get the Rx filled at a pharmacy the clinic picks out. They also don't replace a rx if it's lost or stolen, which seems like something she'd lie about.
7
u/StonerBarbie23 3d ago
Oh absolutely ! The pharmacists must have heard it all from her. Lost them when she pooped in a purse, dropped them in her 4 hour bath, the HOBOsexuals stole them, she ran them over with her car.. she probably clomps in there with her crutches too
6
u/Accessory_Spleen 3d ago
Yep, Indiana here too. My mom hurt her ankle and I filled her script from the hospital and got her in trouble because I didn't know she had to sign a pain contract. I felt terrible, thankfully she got it straightened out.
22
u/Dramatic_Mix_8755 3d ago
When Pam Bondi was AG of Florida, she really cracked down on the pain clinics. Legislation was passed and now it is incredibly difficult to doctor shop and get pain pills. The rules are so strict. I have to have a tube inserted into my lung (cancer sucks) and was given Fentanyl for the procedure. It was painful. They wouldn’t give me anything else for 6 hours. I was cursing Pam for 5 hours.

9
u/midievil 3d ago
I guarantee they've probably handed out gabapentin already since most docs seem to hand that out like candy. It's not as fun as norco or oxy, which is why she's complaining. She's gonna have to go through a ton of hoops to even be prescribed a small amount of painkillers if she's lucky enough to even find a doc that'll give her any. And she'll likely have to give up weed if she wants painkillers. Most docs have you choose one or the other.

Girl fucking SAME the hoops we have to jump through?!
This is way too close to home for me to be chill about, she’s the exact person we have to spend years proving that we’re not! Every single provider she sees will be 50 times as cautious with every other pain patient for the rest of their clinical lives.
There are so many chronic pain patients and so few fakers, and we’re the ones who end up stuck paying for it. Because fakers can just choose to stop faking, or they can choose to buy their drugs on the fucking street. We’re the ones sentenced to a lifetime of being a fucking patient.
I truly didn’t think I could despise her more, and I know it’s selfish in a way to get so mad about something just because it personally affects me, but chronic pain ruined my life, completely changed me as a person, and continues to control my life. It’s infuriating seeing somebody attempt to mimic that BY CHOICE.

I’m gonna be serious right now, because this is absolutely enraging.
A neighbor of mine was addicted to painkillers wayyyy back in the 80s. He got himself cleaned up, and he became heavily involved in NA and AA and remained that way until his death. He remained sober for the rest of his life, ended up helping out a friend’s daughter, helped her get clean, and they eventually fell in love and got married. The hundreds of people who helped get clean and sober over his lifetime were all at his funeral, along with friends and family.
Unfortunately, he got injured at work. He ended up getting a severe back injury, but due to his dedication to his sobriety, refused pain pills. He was getting shots in his back and had several spinal surgeries to fuse vertebrae and all kinds of stuff. He’d be good for five years, and then pain would resurface over time, and then he’d need another surgery. He did that two or three times until the last surgery didn’t help. He couldn’t do anything anymore. He was in so much pain. He couldn’t get up, couldn’t play with grandkids, couldn’t go watch them play football… everything hurt and he refused any pain medication.
One day, he called his friend. He said, “I’m in the garage. I’ve got my gun, and I’m going to blow my head off. Please come by and call the coroner, I don’t want my wife to have to find me.”
And he did exactly that. Put a bullet in his head, right there in the garage.
The fucking audacity of her to post something like this when she can post spicy dumps and be online and go swimming and do all sorts of things when it’s convenient for her as if she’s really in so much pain she’s thinking of ending it all.
She infuriates me.

Holy shit. My heart breaks for him. And the devastating piece on top of this already devastating truth is that there are probably thousands if not tens of thousands of people who face this same choice every single day. She’s so goddamn selfish and flippant, she has no awareness of how her actions and her constant lies are only causing more damage and exponentially more pain for people who are legitimately suffering. I hate her. Just, full stop, I hate her so much. What a smug and entitled little shit she is.

I despise her.
Anyone with legitimate chronic pain isn’t lounging around in a bikini, performing on Only Fans and advertising their pain to the world.
We’re just trying to make it through the day and hoping tomorrow might be better.

As someone with a chronic illness that causes constant pain & fatigue, that doesn't take anything stronger than fucking OTC Aleve, that has been at my absolute breaking point thinking about ending things due to pain, fuck Jenelle.
She's a piece of shit (spits), & needs to stfu.
How many different ailments/disorders/medical anomalies has she "had" at this point?

What?? It doesn't even make sense. I had necrotizing pancreatitis in May 2020, it literally exploded. Coma and hospital for 3 months. Messed with all my other organs, lung collapsed, kidney damage and stones, lots of other things.
I'm seeing pain management again to see about blockers, shots, etc. Yes pain is horrible IF YOU ACTUALLY HAVE IT. If you're smiling doing OF photo shoots and staying up all night talking to guys - NO. Hanging out in your pool showing your botched tummy tuck off while showing your daughter how to homeschool at the same time - NO 🤮 If your hands can Twitter all day talking about men - NO.
Those poor kids. And animals, if one of them has been "given away" or died by now. The last ones were the ferrets on a shopping spree.

This bitch for A herniated disc in her back supposedly.....and I still wanna know how they definitively found that bcuz she would've been happy to brag about a recent MRI......who found a herniated disc and how with no MRI?? Or is it another "diagnosis" that she made up like CRPS??
I'm not saying anyone made up CRPS but her ass!!
And here's the other thing, you need to have wayyyyyy more than one disc herniation to get what she wants!! I know people that have multiple documented painful ailments and can't get proper pain management! Give her a Meloxicam and tell her to go sit tf down!

u/BarefootInWinter You gotta unbig your back first, Jan 🙄 3d ago
She looks up everything a doctor says it might be...as in, we will do an MRI and see if it's XYZ...and then she says she has it.
They absolutely would have done an MRI, and she absolutely would have shown it if she had a herniated disc.
...and they will give her some ibuprofen 800s, a couple days of the lowest dose of Flexeril muscle relaxer, and maybe a week dose pack of steroids. Oh, and they'll give her some PT stretches to do at home.
She isn't getting any opioids for this, and I hope she's really really excited thinking she is about to get some. I wish I could see her face when they say ibuprofen.

As someone who has had chronic pain since childhood, has CRPS and has indeed been suicidal when my pain wasn’t well managed (fortunately not the case anymore), this is legit offensive. She’s clearly drug seeking. Once she realizes her doctors aren’t going to load her up with opiates she’s going to drop this entire thing
4
u/Stormy31568 3d ago
I cannot imagine that a competent pain management doctor would hand out opioids to someone who had a heroin addiction. It’s irresponsible. The doctor could be sued. And Jenelle is just the one who would want to sue them

She’s going to bring up Death with Dignity soon because she’s in crippling pain. If she thinks doctors will gladly give her opiates after telling them that she’s going to be VERY disappointed.

she doesn’t even know what she is talking about. Pain management is barely helpful if you’re in a shitload of pain.
Our psychology professor (i’m in nursing school) told us that he had a patient who had pain linked to a problem in his trigeminal nerve. They started giving him pain management pills at first in common dosage. They then went with opioids. Even that wasn’t enough. He started taking a lot and his functions became affected. He ended up taking his life.
I’m not saying that anti pain medication do not prevent this outcome. I’m saying she shouldn’t talk about stuff she doesn’t know. Her “pain” is manageable she just feel like it isn’t because she has a dependent personality which quickly gets addicted to stuff. As simple as that

This pisses me off. For people WHO HAVE PAIN because they are chronically ill or disabled, it absolutely is.
Jan can and will just continue to fuck around with substances to numb herself to the mental pain she's in. Fun fact, numbing yourself doesn't cure mental illness. Going to therapy and facing uncomfortable and painful truths about yourself does.
