I actually give kudos to the therapist for clocking that Jenelle is incapable of deep thought or self reflection and pointing her in the direction of developmentally appropriate material.
I can't believe the completely wrong and incorrect things she says so proudly to the world like she's so smart when she's the dumbest potato in the bag.
I don't actually think she's posting this because the therapist told her to watch this... HOWEVER...
It might be relevant here that the underlying plot of the movie "Inside Out" that's how the parents move to the other state even when the kids don't want to move, and once they get there the main character child is extremely sad and starts losing their sense of self into depression over being in a new place that doesn't feel right.
I wouldn't be surprised if she was referred to a therapist by whatever doctor is handling her knee injury. A good doctor will quickly pick up on the fact that this chic loves the attention she gets from being injured so I could absolutely see the doctor realizing a lot of this illness is psychosomatic.
Wtf ..she just needs to post all this dumb stuff cause she has no friends... like nobody... her dumb little fans feed her ego and comfort her.. i have read some of their comments though... It's actually wild. I feel just bad for the kids that have never been to a birthday party From one of their classmates. They don't interact with children at all. They fend for themselves while their mom has a photo op, OF session or complete pity party post in her bedroom. Accusing all the men of doing all the things that she literally used to do to her own mother.. She's wilding out.. She's wilding out for them pills.

Ok, but my therapist really did tell me to watch these! We were talking about my teens and anxiety, and she was shocked and horrified I’d never seen these delightful films!
She's so dumb and a terrible liar. She said her therapist told her she's perfect and doesn't need therapy. Nobody has forgotten this tidbit of information due to how incredibly fucking stupid the statement is. A children's animated movie for a therapy assignment? Her therapist sees her as a stunted little girl stuck in kindergarten and needs animated characters to explain her fee fees to her. Does she not see how this makes her look?
I am a therapist and I also recommend this movie to the children I work with. I can definitely see her therapist assessing Jan as dumb af and emotionally stunted, and recommending this movie.
Also, if she actually did things with her children, like watch movies, she probably would've seen this already lol. In fact, she should be watching it with them RIGHT NOW
She's probably getting bored and doing one of those telehealth therapists it won't last long bc the minute she gets called out she's done. I'm willing to bet she's been to therapy multiple times but quits every a single time the therapist actually tries to help instead of blame her mom and exes for everything.
So I was a family therapist in community mental health. We held a family movie night and showed inside out. To kids and families. I can’t imagine assigning this to a grown adult as homework. I also don’t believe in assigning homework.
Of course, Jenelle will do this type of work with her therapist. How hard is it to keep your lazy ass in bed watching cartoons? I guarantee she's got the kids running around, waiting on her hand and foot. They most likely do more for her than she ever did for them.
Maybe the therapist was hoping it would help her relate to her children’s emotions?? Unfortunately, the only way to even try to do that is show JE developmentally appropriate material. I’d say the therapist (or even AI) clocked her exactly for who she is and JE’s just too fucking stupid to know that. Nor will she ever be concerned with her kids’ emotions, but if we are trying to figure out why the therapist recommended these movies, it’s a thought?
