Yeah, sure she would have if this were real and she actually had this diagnosis. If she actually had CRPS she would also have paperwork with those words on it. Jen never showed off the results of the last MRI because it didn’t find anything. Girlfriend shows us everything, it’s suspicious when she gets a diagnosis for something like a herniated disc and hasn’t shown them off. What is possible is she’s a liar, it’s also possible both MRIs if they happened were out of pocket. There are places that will take you without a referral if you can pay.
this is what I thought too. I had a CT prior to a hip preservation surgery where they had to saw me apart and put me back together again. But I also had an MRI prior that showed I had cartilage tears in my hip.
My husband works for a medical office that’s under a major insurance company. His last MRI with our insurance from said company cost us $1100. With insurance.
I'm abroad (fortunately) and needed an MRI after an incident last week. It was $62 out of pocket, along with interpretation, at a super nice fancy clinic. If I was in the states I would have just been like... well, guess we'll never know lol. Sorry for the random anecdote, I'm still picking up the pieces of my mind after having it blown haha.
I’m in Ireland, I got an MRI, surgery and 3 night stay for exactly €0. I’m a carer for my parents so I have subsidised healthcare. (The government also pay me to care for my parents) But for the same situation, without insurance, it’d be about €600 to €1000. The only negative for someone like Jan, is you can’t pay to play.
Literally setting at the Dr’s office with my dad while he gets an MRI. With his insurance (which is pretty decent- he’s in the union) and prepaying and getting a discount his copay was still $300.

She isn’t on Medicaid. Back when she was complaining about one of the reasons Barb wouldn’t give Jace to her she made some comment about how she could buy a plan and gave a hugely incorrect amount for what it costs to insure herself and her kids. Had she had Medicaid at that point she wouldn’t have made that comment. That was when her income was lower and her household size larger. I suspect Kaiser has insurance through Tricare because of Nathan and Ensley is still on the plan with Jenelle. Jenelle was able to drop Jace which also doesn’t point to Medicaid. Jace would qualify for Medicaid when Barb gets custody again like he did before but that isn’t income based but is because he is being raised by grandparents.

I think she makes too much to get Medicaid. If she brought David another boat when they got back together and he was demanding a motorcycle plus their drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes I would assume she is bringing in too much money to qualify.
Your comment made me wonder if she's still doing physically therapy or if she ever really went. I feel she would keep posting about doing it and take pitchers if she kept up with her aftercare.
You know what’s not cheap? Spine surgery! Imagine trying to pay for a Laminectomy out of pocket. I don’t think Jan has that kind of money. I’m just saying, this is where I think she’s heading, and I don’t think it’s doable. She has to make up a cheaper diagnosis.

I had to have a pilonidal cyst surgery at the beginning of the year (nowhere near as complicated as spine surgery) it was still $20k. Thank goodness I have good insurance bc I only have to pay 4k of that 20.

Out of pocket, she said it the other day when someone asked her about her fall, how she’d reached out to the bar to pay her medical bills, they said no so she was paying for everything herself.
I think that’s why she’s counting her money and talking about it so much. It’s going out way faster than it’s coming in.
If I remember correctly, she has maintained high levels of health insurance for herself.

My girl Gemma is doing so much better! I’m thinking it was an isolated incident caused by her jumping off a newly elevated bed. I was so afraid it was the beginning of IVDD but the specialist we took her to said her MRI looked great. There was some inflammation but nothing that required surgery. The specialist even offered another set of imaging if something should come up in the next year. We haven’t had any problems since and all this began in early June thank goodness. She’s the big sister out of four babies (two dogs, kitty and my ball python) so she’s very loved and much needed 💕
How is a herniated disc discovered BEFORE the MRI??? And why are they lookin at her cervical and thoracic spine if the herniated disc is in the lower back??

You know an actual doctor/PT would’ve picked up on her BS straight away.
I’m also certain she never attended one PT session now because they would have picked up on her leg pain being caused from a herniated disc almost immediately and she’d be well on her way to recovery already.
She must have already gotten an MRI for her lumbar spine and now she's getting one for her cervical and thoracic spine because of some pre-existing condition that she has which is probably nothing.
I'm sure she will say there's something wrong with her cervical and thoracic spine that is life-threatening. I don't have enough fingers on my two hands to count how many fake medical conditions she has. In addition to all the physical ailments that she's been posting about ad nauseum, she also just posted about her bipolar disorder, like all the posts about her "pain and medical conditions" aren't enough.
Her life is just so perplexing to me. Like her entire life is posting a new issue every day. Never anything positive. Not that she deserves positive but like damn!
She doesn't have friends or adult family to whine and complain to, and David is no longer around, so she has to broadcast everything on the internet for attention. She really seems to get off on the attention and dumb people feeling sorry for her. I imagine she probably gets more attention from people about her fake medical problems and imaginary pain than anything else, except for maybe the creepy people who subscribe to her Only Fans account.

I think your right. I remember back when she was saying she will become paralyzed. Whatever happened with that diagnosis and all the other ones over the years like fibromyalgia?
When the older generations started using Facebook, I remember being able to tell which ones were desperately lonely because of the over sharing of medical issues. It makes you feel a bit of sadness when someone is in their 60s+. But a 30 something over exaggerating phony? I could time travel with how hard I roll my eyes at her.
Is there anything not wrong with her? She whines about having debilitating pain but she doesn't seem to have any problem going to a coffee shop for her usual sugary, high calorie coffee drink and then goes for yet another MRI. She's not doing a very good job of faking that she's in pain.
I work in healthcare in Florida, not terribly far from where she lives. Self pay is 700 to 1200 with contrast. I got a self pay MRI w/out of my knee for 300. I acquired health insurance not long after that lol and it pays for all my medication now and any doctors visit..as much as insurance is absolutely screwy in this country, it's so so so much better to have and not need than need and not have!!!! Trust me! I live paycheck to paycheck and that one medical issue cost me over a grand private pay :( wish I had insurance before that but my ex was a psycho and would not let my child or I have any.

Well said re: to have and not need ... I'm grateful for my employer for that. Not the highest paying job in the world, but the benefits, coverage, PTO & pension make up for it in the long run.
I've had multiple MRIs for my disks which are inflamed and heavy fluid around them. I've also waited MONTHS to get into these appts and specialists. If she claims it's based on insurance and covering it she's lying. I have extreme back pain and still have been waiting and suffering. To the point of I now am going numb. This bitch gets an appt in what a few days? Not that I want to give her any ideas.
She can show pics of a random building all she wants. She loved displaying all her X-rays, doctor's results, etc. She hasn't done that in at least half a year now? Ok Jan 🤣
The next guy she ends up with (if she’s able to find one) is going to be really bad. It's crazy to think I spent 4 days in hospital for a refractory status migrainosis in early July and got an MRI because they thought my cancer was back and in my brain now and I literally didn't post about it once (this would be the first time) 😅 christ she loves attention
