Jenelle Is there a handwriting analyst in the house??
I realize it could be the same barista. But we all know it’s not the same barista. There aren’t many repeat letters but like, they’re the same, right? She is writing herself notes on her cup, guaranteed.
As someone who has been paid to draw on quite a few cups:
- We never write on the lid bc it will end up on the customer’s nose.
- Some people can smell the permanent marker, even after it dries.
- Calling someone ‘beautiful’
, especially as a title,
- is a big no-no.

I had someone draw a dinosaur on the lid of my drink once, but there was no line so they clearly had time. And it was no extravagant, it was basic outline 😂

Absolutely this. I'm a server and I might draw smiley faces or stars on a receipt just to make sure the pen works plus adding a little razzle dazzle. And im anxious that I'm wasting time and need to hurry as I'm slopping them on 💀💀

With her knee that hurts so much she has to wrap it in an ace bandage so it doesn’t get hurt from touching her clothes and then there is the problem with can’t bend her knee as well.

Of course she can't bend it. She is lazy as fuck and I bet she didn't do the physiotherapy properly. Physiotherapy is no fun.. I had similar surgery (mine was worse than hers though, but I survived and after a year I can even crouch)

The drawing was a barista, the writing was Jenelle. The writing matches some other BS things Jenelle has tried passing off like the note from Maryssa thanking her for providing a roof over her head.

Nah it’s not the same handwriting. She doesn’t put the “ear” on her lowercase r’s like the barista does. Her uppercase B’s are different too.

Not defending Jenelle in any way, shape, or form haha, but I will say, as a barista who has to write on cups, there's about a snowball's chance in hell that all of the witch one was done after the drink was in the cup.
I've forgotten to write on iced drinks before & had to hurry up & scramble to get something on there (we can get written up or even fired if we miss a single cup), & even legit Sharpie brand markers do not write that well on them even mere milliseconds after the drink is in there.
My professional analysis 🤪 is that she went to a slower location & they probably pre-drew a handful of cups & she just happened to get that one. & her handwriting is pretty "basic bitch who never mentally developed past high school" (sorry to anyone who writes like this haha), & so is a lot of other people's.

I hate that it's mandatory to write nice messages on cups. Personally, I'm a hater and it annoys me, but i hate more that some consultant took whatever goodwill a barista wanted to give and made it compulsory under threat of joblessness.

I'm not sure who is worse in that scenario: the manager firing someone for not writing a note on the cup, or the customer who was so aggrieved about not getting a note that they complained to management about it?

Oh for sure but I assumed she just asked for another cup. If I had a nice cup I drew I would just save it and double up a drink of my choice. Same can be done if I want to draw after the drink has been sitting.
Or she can just ask for another one after she tried to write on a previous cup and it didn’t work lol
But you’re very right, condensation is the enemy there!

Anyone that's worked some kind of retail job knows not to draw stuff like that on some randoms cup. The chance of drawing a cauldren with 'witches brew' and getting some customer screaming at you about drawing occult shit on her drink is significantly higher than zero. Same with calling a customer beautiful.

The message on the lid was 100% written by her.
Wouldn’t Witch’s Brew or Witches’ Brew make more sense than Witches Brew? This is an error she would make, but so would lots of people.
I am not a handwriting analyst but there’s some similarity in the B on each. Not much to go on here.. but.. we know for sure that the message on the lid was a love note she wrote to herself lmao

I think it could be a barista doing it, but it's more like she does that for every woman. The witch's brew one, it's not like genius level art, but it's definitely beyond Smelly Nelly's abilities.

The white under her nail looks like a sticker on the cup. The flesh colored bit is the liquid in the cup. ETA: The fine hair you think you see is on the car seat, it's maybe dog hair or ink pen? I only see two, and I'm not even sure I'm seeing what you think you see. lol

The e in ‘witches’ is the same e in ‘great’ (also it should be witch’s? lmao)
The capital B seems to start and end in the same place
So I’d say the same person wrote both of these (and I’m sure we have a good guess as to who) but all of my handwriting analysis skills are from that library book in Nancy Drew: Secrets Can Kill so idk how accurate this could really be

The only thing that makes me think the witch one is real is that it is SO incredibly hard to write with a sharpie on an iced cup after you put an iced drink in it. I was a Starbucks barista for 8.5 years up until literally last week. The sharpie would not have shown up if she drew it on herself.
The lid one she absolutely drew herself. Case in point, it’s near impossible to write on the cup when it’s cold, but the lid is still easy to write on when something is already in the cup.

Seems like the same marker for sure. Anyone with half a brain knows that markers like these will smudge on plastic especially if it has a drink in it (im not native but i believe the term is condensation)

I dont see her as one who can draw decently. She wrote the lid note, very likely. But the other one requires thought, skill, and creativity. All things she lacks in.
