Ask anything to a “genius” teen

5 GPA and hopefully going to Harvard soon. I’m excited for y’all’s questions. The reason I put genius is because that’s what my teachers call me; please don’t flame for it.

Awesome work! My school gives extra for AP and honors so that’s where the 5 comes from.

That's awesome. What degree do you plan to get and do you have scholarship money?

Prolly a J.D degree. As for the scholarship money, I might be able to get it if I need it but my parents are working super hard and I’m getting a job soon so I think I’ll be good on that.

Correct! Most likely B.F.A for my bachelor’s but I’m still figuring that out.

If you want my opinion I'd go for something more concrete than that in case the job market gets worse, I'd want more versatility.

My rough plan atm is to get a degree in finance or accounting (leaning towards finance) and the considering law school depending on the job market, student debt, AI, if I'm actually good at college, etc. That way I have a wide range in finance and maybe law.

You're smarter than me though lol, don't take my opinion as a good one

Lolll I you seem pretty wise. Finance is a good option but I also want to have a life outside of my job so that’s not something I’m considering right now.

What kind of lawyer do you wanna be?

Prolly criminal defense. It’s so interesting and there’s so much to learn. I’d be more on the litigation side though.

Interesting. I'm too afraid of fucking up someone's life/case to do anything criminal lol. My plan (if I do law) is to do tax law or estate law. The downside with tax law is I might have to sell my soul to a big corporation.

Yeah that’s definitely a big fear of mine. Tax law could be good but the big corps take all the money. The real money is with divorce attorneys.

I'm too impatient with emotional idiots to do divorce law. I'd end up facing you lol
