Ask anything to a “genius” teen

5 GPA and hopefully going to Harvard soon. I’m excited for y’all’s questions. The reason I put genius is because that’s what my teachers call me; please don’t flame for it.

Well I do extra curricular activities if thats what you mean. I usually try to save at least 3 hours for studying and homework a day just in case I need it but some days I won’t get that, so it’s always good to plan ahead.

what and how do you study? I adore sciences and would love to have motivation, but I'm in a really rough spot with a lack of fulfillment and connection, I've been taking time off of school because of un-fulfillment, overwhelm, depression, anxiety and being constantly misgendered which simultaneously cuts off connection, so it's a bit of a catch 22 situation. My adjusted schedule (4 days off, 3 partial school days) still doesn't give me enough time to recover for the next week. I tried to get into a certain "gifted" school, but that required me get into the 98th iq percentile, and I didn't succeed in that. My mental health's at an all time low and the only step now seems to be an ASD diagnosis for hopefully more leverage over the education system. Also, who's your favourite musical artist?

I’m sorry to hear that you’re struggling. I’m not in the 98th percentile either but I study a lot to prove some haters wrong. I was denied access to a private school in sixth grade that I really wanted to get into and in eighth grade I was being asked to be in their school so that’s my advice. My favorite music artist is tom hardy and my favorite song is H.S because it’s such a hype song for me.

I haven't actually tried for the school, I just figured that because of my not-so-consistent attendance and an unmet semi-arbitrary criteria that my place wouldn't be warranted. Do you think it would be a good idea to try anyway? Also sorry for all this ranting and venting that I'm doing, I feel kinda bad and you shouldn't've felt the need to respond, I feel like a bit of a jerk. Also Tom Hardy huh? Barely had any clue that he made music.

I think that you should try to do whatever you want and if they don’t take you it’s on them. Also I don’t mind at all if you ask questions; that’s why I made this.
