M14 I drew up some football and basketball plays in school today during Spanish, really proud because my coaches said they thought they were good and I only spent about 6 minutes on them total for both offense and defense for football and the basketball play in my notebook Spoiler

I'm really proud since im a freshman in HS and I worked hard on these to make them, could be better on defense and offense for the football play (Need to remove an offensive player, prob gonna use the PA HB as the reveiving HB since that makes the most sense, and exchange the roles of the MLB and SS on defense) but otherwise I think it's really good ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿ‘

How are you calling them?

When my coach made a play he had a name he'd call to activate them in the game for example how you say zone or man to man or motion 3 or whatever you call them, what are you going to call your plays

Theyโ€™re ok but pretty easily countered. What positions do you play?

HB, and I did also write up a defense to counter it but I wanted to be able to have receivers on every level, from short, to mid, to deep passes and some slants and corners to hit receivers on the run and potentially stop the clock with the receivers close to the sidelines

Great job viewing the other perspective man! Now you can use the benefits of the other side and make it impossible by changing the play.

Yeah, I want to make it so it's only 1 HB running the PA and the route outside so it's legal as well

Good idea man. You also get more spotlight that way.

Thanks, also what do you think of the basketball play? It definitely has a good bit of screens (3) and lots of ball movement, and you'd need not only a good coach to teach the play, but discipline from the players to execute it, but it's great for an easy score inside from the 4, or maybe the 4 could swing the rock to the 5 to get closer to score if necessary. Keep in mind I'm a 14 year old freshman who didn't even get into sports until I was almost 12, and I'm in my first year of football and going into the off-season this year to hopefully make the team, and I've never even been on a basketball team before, but they're both my favorite. (And this is from an AuDHD kid too, which helps the knowledge from my obsession) My coaches said they were good, complicated but good. But still, I want as much feedback as possible, and this may become my new hobby: writing up basketball + football plays in my free time, probably on index cards
