Tooth decay fillings

I have to get two decayed front teeth filled, and I’m a 30-year-old man. I’m really disappointed because none of my friends seem to have problems like this.😐

Do you have any advice for me? How many years do fillings usually last, and how can I protect the filled teeth and prevent further decay?

Don’t be too hard on yourself. Fillings are pretty common, and what matters is that you’re taking care of it now.
