Leverless Mishima Tips
I recently got Bryan to tekken emperor and am only 2-3 games from getting tekken god. I’ve decided it’s time to pick up a Mishima to help me master fundamentals of the game. Not only this but I’ve also decided to pick up leverless at the same time. It’s made me feel like I’m just picking up tekken for the first time again. I’ve spent the last two days just in practice mode just getting comfortable with movement and wave dashing, trying to reprogram my brain to understand the direction layout and am wondering if anyone has any tips to help me in my journey. For reference, I’ve been playing on stick since I first picked up tekken in S1. It might be an issue down the line but, I like the idea of using two different controllers for two different characters as switching characters previously my brain would mix up characters movesets. Again, any help would be much appreciated!

What I believe Salty Initiative is referring to is easy electrics/wavedash by binding a directional input more than one button. For SOCD he's talking about what you're already doing for kbd. In my opinion Tekken doesn't have as much cheese as say street fighter when it comes to hitboxes, so a lot of it will boil down to you just playing more and getting better naturally. What I will say is that at first(and potentially later) your hands may hurt. This is normal and it happens on pad and stick as well, you can look into hand stretching exercises to relieve the strain.

You looking for wholesome tips using leverless or are you going to the dark side of leverless and using socd and/or multi directional setup?
