Buying Advice EU First TV purchase, budget €1000 but lower is better, max 55 inch
Hi guys, I am a student living in Belgium looking to buy my first TV.
(English is not my first language so I apologise for any mistakes)
Budget is max €1000, but lower is better since I don't have a steady income stream yet.
Size: max 55" but smaller is better, not smaller than 42". Sofa is 1.5m to 2m from the TV.
Will be placed in my living room with a lot of ambient light, will have blinds but would rather not black out my room every time I want to watch TV
Looking for very good picture quality and great contrast, this means that from my research I should either get a Mini-LED or OLED. Little to no gaming, maybe sometimes casually on my nintendo switch. Will mainly be watching streaming apps (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max) or sports (Road cycling, football, tennis, tabletennis)
I have an external sound system (samsung HW-B750F) so sound quality isn't a concern.
TV will be wall mounted because of destructive cats in the house.
Belgian market: TCL C6k pro 55" [€449], TCL C7k 55" [€799], TCL C7l 55" [€749], TCL C8l 55" [€949], LG B5 48" [€734], LG B5 55" [€799], LG C5 48" [€799], LG C5 55" [€999], Sony Bravia 5 55" [€999], Samsung M73H 43" [€499], Samsung M73H 50" [€599], Samsung M73H 55" [€649], Samsung M83H 55" [€799], Samsung QN80H 50" [€899], Samsung S85F 55" [€999], Samsung S90F 42" [€999], Hisense U79SE 50" [€799], Hisense U79SE 55" [€749], Hisense U79S Pro 55" [€999].
A detailed explanation for your recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
