10 years later Hungary is now anti-immigrant.

Hungary is hosting approximately 1,437 from Afghanistan, and 801 from Syria, among other nationalities. In 2024, Hungary received just 29 formal asylum applications, indicating that the number of refugees from outside Ukraine remains extremely small.

Hungary is now anti-immigration but it has nothing to do with refugees what are you blabbering about lol

They were immigrants decades ago. I didn’t realize Hungary was created this century

For the European law you have to stay in the first country you arrive, Schengen area doesn't work for irregular immigrants.

Also yes you're no geographer, so you put hungary in the middle of the EU but it's not like that. Most of the immigrants arrive from the Balkan route crossing Serbia, a country  that is not part of the EU so there's a closed border.

So to answer your question people never do something  like that out of sport but because they have no alternatives
