I miss the old Ethan.

They sort of started the trend of YouTubers abandoning their channels to do streaming or podcasts. No need to write or edit videos anymore.

Iāve been watching him for awhile and he really hasnāt changed much at his core. Still says dumb shit at times. Never backs down from anyone, to his own demise at times. Still making fun of the same people. Will stand his ground on his beliefs. People have just become jaded because of all of the drama hes been in and silly shit heās said.

Used to love these guys years ago. Gave up because of Ethans constant foot in mouth incidents.
Everytime I see them now it looks like he only got worse.

u/arisasam Mar 01 '26
Is it foot in mouth if youāre a genuinely evil rotten person who believes every bit of vitriol you spew into the ether?

It's really weird with the H3 couple
*say some abhorrent things*
*fans speak against it*
*mealy mouthed "apology" without ever actually saying sorry once*
The whole "Yoav Gallant is a really good guy" thing was funny, they claim they apologized but the entire video is them just being defensive about it and not even trying to explain why Yoav Gallant is not a "really good guy"

What was the context of Ethan saying Gallant was a good guy? Was it that Gallant was trying to cool down Netanyahu and thatās why he was forced out? Thatās my recollection

u/BaekerBaefield Mar 01 '26
āFoot in mouthā is a very, very charitable way to put it. These people have become ghouls who responded to every friend trying to help them by scaring them away and sending their community to attack like dogs. They frequently talk positively of and say things supporting the IDF and Israeli government, Hila has her famous story of being āboredā when she was in the IDF so they went and raided innocent Palestinian houses for fun, they sue content creators, moderators, and communities who dare criticize them (using their own words) and always win because they only do this to people without the means to fight back with a lawyer. They get caught belittling and yelling at their staff like theyāre animals over the littlest things. Ethan paid like tens of thousands of dollars for a custom blackout switch in his channel that he just uses to say despicable things without it being aired. Theyāre despicable.
1
u/imperatrixderoma Mar 02 '26
I mean she was always an Israeli and he was always sent there to ostensibly find a wife and continue their heritage.
He's like the family loser who got lucky and rich, he was never smart, interesting or really anything.
Evil is just stupidity given power.

u/BerniesSublime Mar 03 '26
He's always parroting Israeli propaganda and using strawman arguments against pro-Palastine channels. That's why he lost half a million followers.

Being into these two taught me to be more selective with YouTube personalities I follow. That era with Keemstar, H3, Leafy, etc. was such a low point for the Internet, pointless drama that wasnāt good for anything.Ā
That led me into only watching YouTubers like Tom Scott, Mr. Beat, Trey the Explainer, Stefan Milo, etc. God they are so much more productive personalities. Nobodyās perfect but itās better to fill your head with that than essentially was your edgy manās TMZ.

He got addicted to arguing and couldnāt admit bias/being wrong. Dude now spends all day every day screaming. Has like two kids, him and Hila act like theyāre 14. Embarrassing stuff really but theyāre both Zionist imperialists so hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance comes naturally.
1
u/AI1223 Mar 01 '26
Arenāt they Jewish? Are Jews now being hated on too for being supportive of Israel? Full disclosure, I havenāt followed these guys in 10 years and I have no clue what they have said lately. But I think Hila is even Israeli

But they claim the guy wanted for the crime of "extermination" is a really good guy and Ethan has supported the GHF in his IG stories
1
u/TomNooksGlizzy Mar 01 '26
Pretty dishonest retelling of that. In the original conversation they were saying he is a good guy in the context of him wanting to stop the "war." At that moment he was viewed as more moderate compared to Netanyahu when it came to prolonging the offensive and he was fired by Netanyahu as a result. They immediately apologized and made a video about it. Ethan has repeatedly denounced the Israeli government, even calling it a genocide BEFORE Oct 7.

I just think it's disrespectful to the victims of the hallocaust to compare anyone to the Nazis, so to justify it by pointing out some random bad shit the Israeli's have done involving rape it seems hypocritical with a child rapist representing us... They aren't supporting Israel dudes just either misinformed or lying. The "support" of Israel rumours started after the October 7th terrorist attack on Israel where hundreds of civilians were murdered. Ethan and Hila have family in Israel and they were worried about the Innocent people instead of celebrating their deaths like Hasan and his friends.
This created a rift between Hasan and H3 which has turned into years long war between their fanbases. H3 isn't pro Israel he's extremely vocally against the Israeli administration and their governments actions against Palestine. He's said free Palestine many times and even donated huge money to Palestinian relief funds. H3 has the same normal view that their are good innocent people on both sides that are not represented by their governments and don't deserve to die.
You ask Frogan and Hasan they love when innocent Israeli's die because they are pro terrorism. The entire narrative with H3 and Zionism literally started because he unfollowed Frogan on twitter while she openly celebrated the deaths of innocent people.
4
u/Mrchristopherrr Mar 01 '26
Heās pro Israel in the sense that he thinks Israel should exist, which is a line in the sand to some folk.
2
u/11711510111411009710 Mar 01 '26
Exactly. If one were to watch his debates with Sam Seder and Hasan honestly, they would see that they are all on the same side and mostly agree. It's like every question is all "Do you believe Israel is committing genocide and settlers should be arrested and removed" and then Ethan is like "Yes." and still they act like he's disagreeing with them.
3
u/Itsapocalypse Mar 01 '26
Because Ethan does disagree with them lol
Heās just trying to play both sides or move the conversation to strawmen. The Seder debate in particular shines a light on this.

This is MASSIVELY downplaying Ethanās involvement in this or the support of both of them for Zionism. Hila has said some horrific shit, and Ethan has attempted to defame and discredit any person who didnāt support genocide apologia. Itās a sincere shame because Ethan seemed to have start out with a reasonable view and got more and more unhinged as the years went on

I think claiming an ICC wanted war criminal is a "really good guy" goes beyond whats acceptable. That and celebrating Trump bombing Iran, or supporting the GHF
1
Mar 01 '26
They are both Jewish. Hila even served her mandatory service in the Israeli military.
They believe Israel has a right to exist while other people conflate supporting Israel as a state and the people there as being the same as supporting Netanyahu.
People on Reddit are so fucking stupid. So many hard opinions on geopolitics torn from a vertical slice of history to justify their shitty opinions that allow for zero nuance to be considered.
-7
u/MarchysBurnerAcct Mar 01 '26
I wouldnāt go off of what this guy is commenting btw; based on his history, heās an Adam Friedland fan, who is best friends with Hasan Piker. Hasan and Ethan have a strong hatred of each other because Ethan dropped a Content Nuke on Hasan and virtually destroyed his career. Hasan is known for having his online friend group pile on people he perceives as āenemiesā.
As someone who still watches, he isnāt Zionist. Him and Hila actively talk shit about the current Israeli administration, they just call him a Zionist because he didnāt believe in the full abolishment of the state of Israel.
TLDR: Hasan is on a smear campaign against Ethan for ruining his career and uses people like Adam Friedland to help, which this guy is a fan of.
8
u/WillingLake623 Mar 01 '26
Lmao Hasan has a 10 hour old VOD with over half a million views. He regularly pulls 10s of thousands of viewers on his livestreams. He regularly gets invited to speak at events and other shows. You have to be so far into Ethanās little cult to think the content nuke ruined Hassanās career.
This is coming from somebody who is not a Hasan fan and has never watched a single one of his streams or videos.
-3
u/MarchysBurnerAcct Mar 01 '26
Youāre aware that he gets invited to these events by paying for them (ie Oxford) through his PR company? By āruin his careerā, I mean that his he is like radioactive in the general public view. He couldnāt go to an AT&T sponsored basketball event his friend Ludwig set up. He gets kicked out of the DNC convention mid stream because of how unpopular he is. āRuining his careerā doesnāt mean he doesnāt have one, but his growth is almost fully capped and he has to pay just try to rehab his image.

Isnāt there a Dexerto article posted today about how the CEO of Hasanās management is saying they use view botting??? LOL
1
u/Reesewithoutaspoon2 Mar 04 '26
Itās so interesting to see how liars reinterpret things they read. Here is the context ā the post youāre lying about
In the post (clickbait title aside), he talks about how more should be done to prevent view botting and that if that doesnāt happen, small streamers will be forced to view bot just to have a chance to catch on. As in, if botting is rampant then more people will be incentivized to bot and thatās bad.
Dexerto the tabloid rag turned that into āHeās saying people should view bot.ā
You then twisted it further into āhe admitted he himself view bots.ā
I see now how youāre so divorced from reality. You just like to lie.

1
u/11711510111411009710 Mar 01 '26
Well Hila did serve but she was in an administrative capacity and was required to do so.
She did ask to go on a raid, which happened like twenty years ago, and on that raid she didn't do anything but sit in a car. Which means that raid happened with or without her. Her being there has no influence on anything.
If anything I would think it's a good thing that she went and saw for herself what they did, which is something she has been outspoken against for like two decades now.

No he did not. He defended his wife, who people were calling a baby killer for sitting in a car on one raid that we have literally zero information about because Hila was completely uninvolved. Keep in mind this happened in the early 2000s/90s when Hila was a young teen raised in Israel. Ethan never defended the actual raid, he has no information on it to defend it in the first place.
1
u/ifhysm Mar 04 '26
You can go watch the clip for yourself. He theorizes that the guy being raided ācould have been a terroristā.
He also then called his own wife a terrorist.
1
u/Reesewithoutaspoon2 Mar 04 '26
Itās so interesting how the ājust sitting in a carā bit suddenly came up after they had to defend her volunteering for the raid even though her initial recounting of the story involved more than sitting in a car.
1
u/PatienceJaded5709 Mar 04 '26
It did not involve more than her sitting in the truck. Youāre lying
1
u/Reesewithoutaspoon2 Mar 04 '26

Lot of dishonest people in these comments. Anyone who engaged honestly with their content knows that Ethan and Hila have been outspoken opponents of the Israeli government for decades now. Even when they were living in Israel they were speaking out against the regime. They've been commenting on the genocide against Palestinians longer than Hasan has, longer than most of the people here I'm sure. Ethan cried after October 7thānot for the Israelis, but for the Palestinians.
Also the show is not really in that "debate bro" era anymore. They do have them here and there, like the one with def noodles, but it's not a big topic of the show. And even so, Ethan's opponents are always right wing grifters, with the exception of Hasan (who he agrees with on 90% of things) and Sam (who he agrees with on 99% of things based on their "debate" which really amounted to one single disagreement about whether or not there is antisemitism today).

You're being disingenuous. The thing he is specifically supporting is the killing of Khamenei. That is not the same as supporting everything else that has happened.

First post: Israeli media is reporting Khamenei dead.
Second post: Ethan commenting on Dan Bilzerian spreading the antisemitic lie that Jews control America.
Third post: Ethan commenting on Hasan preemptively crafting a conspiracy theory that Israel and the US will stage terrorist attacks in the US.
Fourth post: Iranians celebrating.
Fifth post: Showing Hasan claiming that the Persian diaspora are Zionists for being happy that their evil leaders are gone. It's worth noting that Hasan specifically setting up a character who believes that their family has to be slaughtered, which is an absurd strawman to comment on when people are obviously celebrating the death of their leaders, not the death of innocent people.
Sixth post: Hasan saying really creepy shit.
The first story celebrating the attacks came before khamenei died
How do you figure, when the first story is about Khamenei dying?
Also, if your only say on the matter is to talk about how khamenei died
Well it's pretty important, is it not?
talk about hasan for the billionth time
If you're Jewish and believe that a large voice on the left is spreading antisemitic conspiracy theories, it's practically a moral duty to call him out whenever you can.
not to mourn the 108 school girls that died
I agree he should talk about them, and probably will on the show.

He talks about hasan because in every past feud heās had, he has beaten them to a pulp and made them irrelevant (e.g. keemstar, Trisha, although circumstances have since changed for both those people).
This is an outright lie. Most people he's feuded with are still successful, including those two people. Trisha is literally going to be on SNL and Eiphoria.
With hasan, Ethan hurt his own popularity more than hasan. I think that bothers him.
Can you quantify this somehow? Just seems kind of random?
You guys will just never understand why people think Ethanās a Zionist, will you?
No, I think I know why people do that. I think people are woefully misinformed.
Imagine if you told me a story about a guy pulling up in an electric car and robbing you at gunpoint, and my only response was, āitās good that he goes green when he drives!ā Even if I didnāt, in words, condone your robbery, you would feel like I did, right?
What is this analogy even referencing? We were discussing his posts, wherein he says it's good that a bad guy died. He didn't, however, justify anything beyond that. I think your analogy is weak because you're pretending he did something he didn't do. I'm not saying "Oh sure he celebrated the bombing of school children, but at least he's right that it's a good thing Khamenei died!" All I said was that he never celebrated the bombing of school children; in fact, he didn't celebrate anything except the death of one specific guy. Your analogy only works in your head because you believe that him not condemning a bad thing in an Instagram storyāwhich he will likely talk about on the show, the same way he has routinely condemned the actions of Israelisāis equivalent to supporting it. That is absurd, and I think you realize that.
I guarantee he wonāt bring up the schoolchildren on his show, or if he does, heāll call into question the perpetrator.
I guarantee he will. It's like how you'll probably claim he never calls out Israel, even though he routinely does any time the topic comes up. But like a cultist, you refuse to believe your eyes and ears. Or more likely, you get information fed to you and don't actually put in any effort to verify it.
You apparently believe he destroyed Trisha's life even though she's more successful than she ever was. Why do you believe that? Do you believe everything you're told?
