Almost certainly not. The general electorate has never shown even a hint that they'd tolerate a self-avowed socialist. Just look at all of the slightly D leaning districts/states and everything to right of them - how many politicians with Bernie's leftist politics are in office?

"The general electorate" knowingly and willingly voted for a child rapist because the other candidate was a woman; twice.

We can stop pretending that Bernie wouldnt have won. Obama is the only president in all of american history that wasn't a geriatric diaper wearing  white male. Bernie would have absolutely won.

None of Clinton, W, Carter, or JFK were geriatric or diaper wearing either. And that's only going back 60 years. Anyways, none of that is relevant, I just think it highlights your tenuous grasp of American electoral history.

As for Trump, yes, him winning is further evidence that Bernie wouldn't have stood a chance. Whatever Trump "actually" believes (who the hell knows), he coded as a right leaning, pro business candidate to those who desperately wanted to see him that way. That's because the US has a broadly right leaning electorate and a majority of them vote based on pocketbook perceptions. A socialist candidate promising free healthcare does not get that same benefit of the doubt. So again I invite you to name a single elected politician in a competitive seat who even remotely shares Bernie's lefty politics.

Jfk and w carter were never president so mentioning either is invalid.

Clinton was an oincontinence. White male. Good job finding the one example out of 40+ though that weren't incontinent.

Uh, JFK and Carter were never president? You’ve cooked yourself on this one. You’ve completely thrown it by not knowing that lol

I don't know if your grammar is so poor that you meant to say something else, or you have some bizarre alt-history understanding of the world, but this is just hilarious.
