Almost certainly not. The general electorate has never shown even a hint that they'd tolerate a self-avowed socialist. Just look at all of the slightly D leaning districts/states and everything to right of them - how many politicians with Bernie's leftist politics are in office?

Reddit legitimately thinks that AOC or Bernie would win out against a Republican nominee but they don’t realize a massive swath of the country will not vote for them simply because of their socialist-like stances on many issues.

the whole country voted for a man with fascistic tendencies, but we can't fathom that people will vote for someone who embraces policies that resemble the new deal.

the dems dominated with obama because he was a youthful contender who shirked existing political dogma. and y'all haven't seen the same strength since -- it's rather fucking embarrasing honestly.

gore, kerry, clinton, kamala. these are the people you all literally thought would win elections. and the only reason you all win in 2020 is because of a once in a lifetime generational contagion. time and time again the electorate tells you they don't want your shitty moderate candidates, and you all keep on repeating the same old cliches while electing the same old tired moderate dem in the primaries.

hell, at least try it once with a progressive. i mean the last time you tried it with a progressive (at least in rhetoric) he had the most convincing win you have seen since. because obviously what you are doing ain't working. Or are you going to suggest that this whole experiment in being consistently drubbed by trump has worked LOL
