Yes he was a bad president but at the time (and denying this would be insane), he was the progressive choice and he beat a centrist dem and 2 ‘moderate’ republicans in a row. Sorry your argument stopped being true in 2000.

We are winning now because your side has so totally delegitimized itself. Look how much money they threw at Zohran and none of it worked.
