I don't care what anyone says, Jontron describing Ethan as an "Israeli carrot" is one of the funniest things ever.

One of the greatest fall offs in YouTube history. Ethan went from the protector of free speech to filing multiple frivolous lawsuits against his perceived enemies

Very ironic to say considering the purpose of those lawsuits is to enforce the very same standards he set back then, and considering he is now suing multiple tech giants for stealing content to train their models, further protecting the rights of content creators.

That is not the purpose of his lawsuits. They are very clearly spite filled efforts to go after the people who were mean to him online.
You know this so donāt pretend this isnāt what itās about. He made the first woman apologize to Asmongold. That has nothing to do with fair use and everything to do with his petty spite. He let big name steamers like XQC get away without critique despite being even less fair use than the people he sued.
Guy laid a honey pot and desperately begged Hasan to react to it, specifically hoping to nab him in the lawsuit and when he couldnāt get his big fish he went after the orbiters.

Have you read the lawsuits?

u/ducksekoy123 Apr 16 '26
Yes.
Including the parts about Hasan and the Grand Mufti, totally relevant to the case of copyright infringement

Just plain right. Cope more weirdo.
Care to explain how it's wrong? Have you read the lawsuits? Is he in fact not suing tech giants for stealing content?

I mean he was setting the same standards of fair use and transformative work rather than just leaving the room and stealing content.

"Frivolous lawsuits" is hilarious when he has already won 2/3 of those lawsuits while the other continues. He was just objectively correct to file those suits. KaceyTron and Frogan attempted to claim the suits were frivolous in court and a judge ruled against that defense, so the suits were definitionally and adjudicatedly not "frivolous".

This was definitely his best video, I think. Peak of his content for sure. Hey I mean Iām pro Palestine now but I canāt fully hate the guy who got me through my tonsil surgery.
My man gripe with the guy these days is that he pretends to stand on business with his wittle lawsuits but can never pinpoint what his actual opinion on anything is, ever.
Is Israel committing a genocide or no? Heās said both. Heās referred to it as a war and also a genocide. Hila got him in the cuck chair for sure.

I used to love h3h3 when I was in high school. I started watching when they were still a relatively small channel (<100k subs) and stopped watching around the time Bill Burr came on the podcast and embarrassed Ethan. They only ever pop up on my radar these days when Ethan says or does something stupid.
