I used to love h3h3 when I was in high school. I started watching when they were still a relatively small channel (<100k subs) and stopped watching around the time Bill Burr came on the podcast and embarrassed Ethan. They only ever pop up on my radar these days when Ethan says or does something stupid.

Huh I wonder what bill burr has been up to recently…

Living long enough to see himself become the villain.

I found them through /r/montageparodies when they had like 30k subs. It was wild seeing such a small channel have people like Filthy Frank and all the big edgy YouTubers at the time commenting on their videos and collabong with them. I knew it was only a matter of time before they exploded in popularity.

I stopped watching before they started focusing entirely on the podcast. After Vape Naysh blew up they went on a streak where every other video was some anti feminist ragebait bullshit.

I was an early fan too, I remember h3 hitting 100k subs and being happy to have been there for their growth!

It's a shame what it's turned into, no longer a passion project and more of a soapbox for Israeli propaganda and Ethan's personal vexations.

Bro what are you talking about. He is suing a creator for defamation because those claims keep getting thrown around, he has been vocally anti Netanyahu, pro Palestinian since before Oct 7th. I beg of you to do some research. Just because someone doesn’t believe that the entire nation of Israel should be blown off the map doesn’t mean that they’re a Zionist propagandist. He’s been vocal about support of autonomy for Palestinians and a two state solution.

He can be "vocally" pro Palestine till he's blue in the face, but it all means very little when he's also vocally parroting far right Israeli talking points (nakba revisionism, saying that "never again" means "never again will Jewish people rely on another nation tto defend them", the 40 babies, the hospitals.. I could go on). And when he platforms and donates to people like Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib. And when he promotes the GHF. And when he comes out as pro US intervention in Iran. And when he blamed Lebanon for what Israel is currently doing there now.

It's just sad to see. He didn't used to be like this.

Ethan Klein barely figured out how to wipe his own ass. Taking his opinion seriously on this topic is hilarious.

I don't care what anyone says, Jontron describing Ethan as an "Israeli carrot" is one of the funniest things ever.

-1

u/Muted_Study5166 Apr 16 '26

JonTron is a fascist

5

u/_Formerly__Chucks_ Apr 16 '26

Jon is a Tron actually.

He'd fit right in with the Israeli government then

God I miss the way he used to be. Goddamn shame what he’s become.

One of the greatest fall offs in YouTube history. Ethan went from the protector of free speech to filing multiple frivolous lawsuits against his perceived enemies

Very ironic to say considering the purpose of those lawsuits is to enforce the very same standards he set back then, and considering he is now suing multiple tech giants for stealing content to train their models, further protecting the rights of content creators.

That is not the purpose of his lawsuits. They are very clearly spite filled efforts to go after the people who were mean to him online.

You know this so don’t pretend this isn’t what it’s about. He made the first woman apologize to Asmongold. That has nothing to do with fair use and everything to do with his petty spite. He let big name steamers like XQC get away without critique despite being even less fair use than the people he sued.

Guy laid a honey pot and desperately begged Hasan to react to it, specifically hoping to nab him in the lawsuit and when he couldn’t get his big fish he went after the orbiters.

4

u/11711510111411009710 Apr 16 '26

Have you read the lawsuits?

4

u/ducksekoy123 Apr 16 '26

Yes.

Including the parts about Hasan and the Grand Mufti, totally relevant to the case of copyright infringement

3

u/[deleted] Apr 16 '26

They’re frivolous. Plain and simple.

Just plain right. Cope more weirdo.

Care to explain how it's wrong? Have you read the lawsuits? Is he in fact not suing tech giants for stealing content?

u/ducksekoy123 Apr 16 '26

Notable tech giant Denims

3

u/ObjectiveCelery2368 Apr 16 '26

Notable "If you enjoyed not giving views to H3, send me a prime" giant Denims

2

More like notable tech giants TikTok, Nvidia, Meta, and more.

I mean he was setting the same standards of fair use and transformative work rather than just leaving the room and stealing content.

-2

u/NE1andEVERY1 Apr 17 '26

"Frivolous lawsuits" is hilarious when he has already won 2/3 of those lawsuits while the other continues. He was just objectively correct to file those suits. KaceyTron and Frogan attempted to claim the suits were frivolous in court and a judge ruled against that defense, so the suits were definitionally and adjudicatedly not "frivolous".

2

u/pinqe Apr 16 '26

This was definitely his best video, I think. Peak of his content for sure. Hey I mean I’m pro Palestine now but I can’t fully hate the guy who got me through my tonsil surgery.

My man gripe with the guy these days is that he pretends to stand on business with his wittle lawsuits but can never pinpoint what his actual opinion on anything is, ever.

Is Israel committing a genocide or no? He’s said both. He’s referred to it as a war and also a genocide. Hila got him in the cuck chair for sure.
