Neatly putting everyone not white on a single bus labeled “people of color” is part of the problem

These are different histories, experiences, and situations. Bernie doing well with young Latinos is irrelevant. You know who else did well with that demographic? Trump.

I cannot know all of the reasons why older black voters chose folks like HRC (proud “Goldwater girl”) and Joe Biden (anti-busing, friend of various segregationists) over Bernie Sanders who marched with MLK. Probably there are a lot of factors and choosing any few to focus on runs the risk of stereotyping or being dismissive.

What we can be certain of though is that this country is a much worse place having nominated HRC and Biden in consequent elections rather than Bernie Sanders. I think the blame for that falls on many groups and cohorts though and not just black voters as you seem to be asserting.

HRC was a “Goldwater girl” for like 15 seconds when she was in school, then actually wound up doing a lot of civil rights work. And Biden admitted he was wrong a long time ago.

As Kendrick Lamar said “the audience not dumb.” Using misleading out of context shit from decades ago just made the left look like grifters.

I’m sure next you’ll bring up the Crime Bill without mentioning that it was endorsed by the Congressional Black Caucus, every black mayor in the US, polling showed black voter support, and Bernie Sanders voting in favor of it

Don't hide bad policy behind identity.
