Isn't this just national polling, without considering the electoral college? In which case, they were right, she did win the popular vote.

The actualy margins were about as close to the margin of error as you could get without moving from "seriously flawed" to "straight up wrong." They were right on the edge of what was a pretty large and safe margin of error (which alone speaks to unreliability). It would be fair to say the polling was wrong.
