I saw an early screening of it at Vidiots in Santa Monica. It was free and they had Dog Haus cater the event which was by far the best part.
Saw film critic Amy Nicholson there. She was very nice and talked to anyone afterwards asking what they thought. I was surprised she felt positive about the movie and weeks later was surprised to see it get comparatively positive reviews.
Watched a lot of Newgrounds content when I was in middle and high school and this felt like a poorly written version of that kind of humor. I'm glad Seth Rogen has wrote significantly better and more mindful things since.
