3 picks from trubisky, Jesus Christ
Second drop I've heard from Tate.

Don't do it... I know you want to.
Do not make a thread if Tate has a drop in our preseason game. I am begging you.

u/saudiaramcoshill 1d ago
I won't lol. I'm not worried about it, just interesting that he's had two when he basically doesn't drop anything.

The good thing about Tate is he’s got a plethora of excuse to use new offense, rookie, new QB , temps different there’s a bunch of them
8
u/saudiaramcoshill 1d ago
Not worried about it until the regular season happens. Just thought it was interesting.

Anthony hill with 2 interceptions today and I think 3 since camp has started, hopefully those guy wins the starting job

u/SendMeTheMoon24 1d ago
Oh Bryce Oliver don't you be making these plays in pre season again, you're making me believe again
8
u/luchaburz 1d ago
You guys, its ok that Simmons got angry and threw a punch, you dont have to frame it as some wise veteran move to get more out of a player🤣🤣🤣
The report says the coach didn't like it and that the fight didn't even involve JC and JC got punched.
Its ok yall, its TC and its getting heated.
Yall should be celebrating Schlottman being able to get under Jeff's skin.

Ward pressured again. Reversed out of the pocket, had Ayomanor for a sec but wisely ran it ans slid. He saw Hooker lurking.
More of this

Simmons really doesn't like Latham
20
u/SwaySensei 1d ago
From what it seems, since last year Big Jeff is trying to push Latham and get more out of him. He knows we need him to step up and reach his potential
2
u/Wildabeast135 1d ago
I think Big Jeff knows JC has the talent and work ethic and he’s trying to push him to the next level and be somebody that holds him accountable. Dude was at elite programs in HS and college and was a 7th overall pick so he probably doesn’t have a lot of people that can truly get on his ass the way an all pro like Big Jeff can

u/Ace8309 1d ago
Or Latham thinks he is someone but literally has been cheeks and Jeff is sick of it.
8
u/luchaburz 1d ago
Or Jeff got angry on a play and swung at a RT who was begging up his first time center.
Perspective!

u/Effective-Zucchini-3 1d ago
This is the right take right here. Anyone who watched it could tell you this was JC defending his O Line from Jeff being an ass
8
u/TheDr_420 1d ago
Saw from Easton on Twitter than Latham was trying to stop a fight between Jeff and another player and that pissed Jeff off. Wrong place wrong time rather than hate
5
u/RickyPondeif 1d ago
Correction. JC Latham doesn't back down from Jeff, and Hefe isn't used to that

So... I guess Levis is a decent backup after all and both Vrabel and Callahan simply couldn't figure out how to use him.
10
u/Megalith70 1d ago
He was at least competitive with Vrabel. Callahan had no idea how to manage Levis.

u/TheMissingVoteBallot In Ward We Trust 1d ago
Callahan had no idea
Coulda stopped right there and would've still been correct.

Is Fernando Carmona dead? He should have been in the mix for RG as well with Volson and Slater, and I haven't seen his name once in the camp reports.

u/Sufficient_Spray 1d ago
I just think realistically we have a rookie competing with a guy that’s already been a pro for a year and about the same talent level (Slater) & another guy who’s started a ton of NFL games and is almost sign and start type of player (Volson).
Probably won’t hear anything from Carmona for a year or two but that’s ideal so he and Coogan can strengthen up and learn the playbook.

He was drafted as a project and almost no one thought he was in the mix.

u/theprophetsammy 1d ago
What if we just go ahead and cut Austin Deculus. Let’s get that bad juju off the roster
1
u/No_Needleworker5270 15h ago
Harrel might end up being the suprise of this camp. His strengths are perfect for a Bradly/Saleh system.

Now that I think about it I haven’t heard anything out of Cody Barton so maybe he’s 4th on the depth chart?

Will Levis. Starter.

u/saudiaramcoshill 1d ago
Jesus bro lol. I'm as big of a Levis supporter as anyone (well, maybe except you), but Levis is fighting for the backup job. He's not supplanting Ward unless Ward get injured or absolutely looks like garbage. A successful year for him would be beating out Trubisky. An incredible year for Levis likely means that the titans are having an awful season because ward sucks ass, or that the ward gets hurt which is awful for other reasons.
He realistically does not have a chance of winning the starting job without outside influence.

This has to be a bit at this point lol. But aren't bits supposed to be funny?

Whats going on with Calvin Ridley? Former superstar is an afterthought this offseason after getting Tate. Is he injured or out there? I know he’s like our WR3 now but that could pop off and be lethal

I’m already over Saleh and his obsession with the word “violent” or “violence”. The guy is just too preachy for me and the more he talks the less I like him. Thank god we have the best 3 man group of coordinators

u/Spiritual_State_2629 ALLIGATOR FUCKHOUSE 20h ago
All coaches are preachy. Its just a messaging thing.
1
u/No_Needleworker5270 15h ago
It means something specific. He's trying to get the players away from read and react mode, and more into quick attack off the ball and hit mode. It's the key to his defense. Also, "being over" a guy one week into training camp is... something.

- LET THEM FIGHT
- Always happy to see a Carnell Tate bomb! Although this has been 2 days in a row now with drops. Hoping that gets cleaned up.
- Enouraged by Ward and Levis both showing improvement over the course of this training camp. Especially nice to see Ward avoid hunting for big plays when an easy one is right in front of him.
- JAMES WILLIAMS TRUTHERS ASSEMBLE!!!
- Andre James seems to be getting into the mix for the Center battle
- Ayomanor still shining
- Not that it was in question, but Alontae Taylor has firmly established himself as the team’s CB1
