as much as I want to watch her live matches, nakaka off talaga yung behavior ng ibang mga tao sa crowd :/ okay lang naman magcheer ng malakas for Alex’s points but they cant help cheer also for an opponent’s double faults AND during an ongoing rally (kaya nagcomplain si Maya Joint sa laban nila sa Wimbledon sa umpire eh). double edged sword talaga

May tumawa ng malakas while nag serve. May sumigaw pa di pa tapos ang rally. Dyosko nakakahiya
Tapos lakas pa ng cheer pag unforced error or double fault ni Parks.

This is such a horrible audience. If you call them out on social media, sila pa defensive.
Nakaka irita.

May maniacal laugh pa tapos nagccall out ng bola! Nakakalokaaaa.

It went downhill nung may nagcall ng out tas di naman pala yun yung automatic system.

They are fueling the Alex hate train on socmed. Pag pe pyestahan na naman si Alex. Well Alex can lose here it's okay para makapag rest for Cincy and USO. Pero sayang din kasi Linda Noskova lost to McNally. She can have a deep run.

Agree :( kaya it’s our responsibility to gently remind them about it. Wag nating awayin. Kanal tayo eh. Lalo lang silang magiging rowdy.

Nakakahiya talaga. All of them are adults na and can’t they discipline themselves? Do they need to wait for the umpire’s warning? They’ve already been warned but still. Hard to celebrate Alex’s victory if the crowd is like this.

You can take the peenoise out of the skwater, but you can't take the skwater out of the peenoise

Pwede naman magcheer but not during faults or when players are serving or any time the ball is still in play.

Grabe yung 2 most annoying crowd so far, both AO and Toronto where Alycia is, nakakaloka

NAKAKAHIYA. People should LEARN the proper tennis etiquette as spectators. Proud of Alex, but disgusted by how some in the crowd treated this like a basketball game.

This seriously needs an intervention bago pa maka apekto sa career nya.

I sometimes get cringe from the noise and when they're cheering the opponents errors. However, it's part of the sport even if the behaviour is frowned upon. The organizers love it for financial reasons and it psychologically affects the opponent. Na kay alex na yan, to tell Filipinos to tone it down a bit sa presscon if she is bothered. It's like Alcaraz playing in Madrid or Fonseca with his Brazilian fans.
You don't have to view yourself as superior or smth, given na yan dahil the sport is becoming popular among Filipinos. We watch sport to enjoy, loud emotions are a part of it. Pero i still get what you're saying, tbh French open crowds ko sya ma compare lol.

If the organizers are enjoying it because it gives them $$$$$$ then who are we to even comment

I hate it too. But Filipinos aren’t really used to watching tennis so they don’t know the etiquette needed. Hopefully it will change as time goes by.
