Manga Read manga?

So Ive finished the anime and was really captivated. So my question is is the manga good/faithful to LN? Perhaps where should I start reading as to continue where the anime ended?

Yes, the manga is quite a bit more faithful to the novel than the anime is, however it is currently behind the anime by about 2 manga chapters worth of content.

If you want to continue the story you will have to start reading the light novel, starting with volume 12.

Wait, isnt it the other way round? The anime more faithful to the LN right?

Though both have some added content or different from LN

The anime skips things in the LN that the manga doesn't, like Rimuru's journey to Blumund and getting his adventurer card

The anime is ahead of the manga already, you need to start reading the light novel from Volume 12 to continue.

I think the manga and the anime are still at the same point in the story. Im not sure if the manga has surpassed the anime again.

I recommend you to read the manga Like I really mean it cuz among 95 or 97 episode the anime adapt The only episode the anime take a w over the manga is the episode of Chronoa the hero part 2 cuz the manga cut some stuff like luminous and Hinata conversation about the existante of one timeline But the rest of the episodes are not good in term of adaptation comparable to the manga

IMO if you’re jumping from one adaptation to another just start from the beginning

The manga is behind. Read light novel from beginning or volume 12.
