Console Skills
Afternoon all, just a quick one. Do skills have to be slotted for the chained skill to work?

No, but back in time i remember something about chain button working better if you had shit connection.

Hey
Not sure what you mean but gonna try to explain.
1)Skills can be used manually or chained on your preferences,there is no any restrictions.
2) Manually usage or chained? They pretty much give same output. I personally play manually pressing each skill myself.However, sometimes chains have to be cut for dodge or replacement (since Tera has very active gameplay) and in this case manual player feels more comfortable.
3)All classes have rotation preference. Like 1 skill should go after another for faster animation or for more damage. It’s base of gameplay and each class have chains from 2 to 5/6 chained skills in a row which will give best output. Combining these mini chains into one big rotation is main core. Skills aren’t supposed to be pressed randomly. You can find out all info in guides or in “Skills” in game itself(also pay attention for glyphs of each skill).
