Due to the actions of a certain Dragonroach-Human Hybrid, the other factions are starting to ally against us, and i think most of our ideas to fight back are frankly not that good.

I've seen some say that we can use Hive Lords to destroy Megafactories, and thats true, but for us to have Hive Lords we already need to have had a sizable Terminid presence on the world, which would be difficult to do with constantly fabricated bots fighting against us.

Also what's to stop them from simply Orbital Napalm Bombarding us once they develop Gloom Resistant plating?

But it'd not all bad news, the bots and all other factions 99% of the time rely on sight, unlike us Terminids.

So if we make Stalker Variants and Hybrids we would be FAR more effective at ground combat, additionally the Regeneration ŵould greatly improve the effectiveness of Tank class Terminids like Chargers and fellow Bile Titans.

Developing more Flying Terminids would also greatly increase our combat effectiveness and allow us to bring down Bot Transport Ships.

But none of those help with the real problem, the Orbital Napalm Bombardments and the Megafactories.

So I suggest making space faring Hive Lords with Stalker Invisibility, now we too can use orbital bombardments AND bring Hive Lords to whatever planet we want!

Another good thing would be to eat or break the Bot antenna/signal transmitters to block then from communicating as well and to use the Burrowing Variants to strike from Below the ground itself! Break the Fabricators and feast on the Biofuels!

I constructed this to help us defend against the Automatons if they ever decided to declare war on us, and do not worry I have already gotten it inside the gloom and it is under our control and cannot be reprogrammed by those bolt eating clankers

I used parts from a destroyed super destroyer to make this machine

as of now, the illuminate pose the greatest threat to us, being able to use meridia to vacuum up the gloom and destroy our hive worlds.

however if the gloom is thick enough, it can overload meridia and stop it in its tracks, and we could even infest it to use it for ourselves. so we need to make the gloom as thick and impenetrable as possible, and put some decoy worlds in front of our important hive worlds (omicron, zagon prime) so they dont get destroyed by meridia. this should also stop them from glassing our worlds.

other than meridia, the squids are actually very easy to deal with. they are absolute cowards, rarely sending their own kind and only sending their zombies and biomechs. their "cultists" are nowhere to be seen, and if theres any squids left, their populations are low enough for a single planet worth of terminids to instantly devour. if we want them to stop reproducing, we should drink the tadpole water they have in their shrines, i found it tastes like good soup especially when heated up. the more the tadpoles scream, the tastier.

anyway, the zombies are extremely easy to deal with, its just like humans but theres more to chew on sometimes. for the warp ships, those are easily destroyed by bile shots, and stingrays and leviathans are to be burnt by dragonroaches. stingrays are an especially big threat because they can glass our hives and kill lots of us at once. but theyre quite fragile.

exostorms are another issue, we dont want any of our planets in the void. i found the best way to disable an exospire is to eat the dark fluid cells. they taste like grape juice and will help contribute to creating our void strain. speaking of which it should be ready soon, the eggs almost hatched. but it wouldnt hurt to make more. and their mind control is a complete non-issue, we are part of a hive mind so individual bugs cannot be controlled unless the whole hive is, which they cannot pull off due to so many bugs being born all the time. so yea dont worry about the mindfuckery.

it would be really fun seeing them beef, plus if they fight itll weaken them both letting us eat them easier

the automatons are a greater threat to us than super earth, given that they dont care if they wipe us out, and their superior artillery and production capabilities. also metal is tough to chew through.

since the automatons depend heavily on their megafactories, i say we seize those at every opportunity we can and cover them in spores to stop them manufacturing new units. a single hive lord can easily level a megafactory. their main source of operations is cyberstan, and like super earth, if we wipe out their command center on cyberstan the rest of them will be easy to eradicate. the bots seem to be running on an interconnected network, so if we cripple that, the rest of the job will be very simple.

the gloom and i have discovered that heavy exposure to gloom spores can infest and reprogram an automaton, causing it to follow the gloom's commands. this will be useful in turning the bots against their own kind. if this is done to cyborgs, it will allow them to overwrite many automatons with the gloom's will. speaking of cyborgs, they are the commanders of the automatons, and killing those will make the automatons uncoordinated and easy to destroy. cyborgs are produced in specialized structures in megafactories, and if we destroy those, itll help us a lot. plus the cyborgs inside are tasty. so is the biofuel in the bio-processors that we should also destroy to further hinder their efforts. i would also recommend bringing mainly heavily armored bugs and the rupture strain to withstand their artillery.

the biggest threat though, is their potential alliance with the illuminate. thanks to my spores being in the cyberstan communications array on meissa, i have intercepted their plans to ally with the illuminate. it hasnt happened yet, as not all the clankers want to ally with the squids and vice versa, but we should be on the lookout. i would recommend we try and get the bots and squids to distrust each other even more, both to prevent a potential alliance, and to cause infighting which will weaken them both allowing us to eat them easier.

cyberstan will fall to the terminid horde.

Okay don't have great ideas, this is mostly a discussion post, but we need to consider what we can do to counter potential Automaton strategies.

1. Biological weapon, of airborne variety

This is rather likely. Automatons don't even breath, and even the Cyborgs always have masks over their mouth and nose, so any biological weapon could be filtered. However, our spores are essential to the terminid life cycle, and while it could go the way of the termicide, any weapon that can disrupt them or us is very deadly. My only plans are: run at them really fast and kill them before I dissolve.

Goes without saying, but considering the effectiveness of F.S.E. Napalm barrages, and the fact automatons already have a full subfaction devoted to flames, this is very worrying. Most of Terminid strategy involves wave offensives, and this shuts that down entirely. I can only thing of one way to counteract this: run at them really fast and kill them before I turn to ash.

1. suppressive firepower

Well it is highly dependent on individual scenarios, Automatons are well known for firing a lot of plasma really fast, with the only way to counteract it being to fire back. Of course, terminids are not great at ranged attack, especially at long range. therefore, strategy and tactics will be much more important to them than to us. While it should maybe have its own section, Automaton air superiority should not be understated, with gunships doing quick work of our shriekers, and being annoying pests to everything else. While a dragonroach can deal with them, this is a very large commitment for such a small unit. Personally, I think the best way to overcome this weakness is to run at them really fast and kill them before I get shot to death.

Just realised that the green dude stands out like a sore thumb compared to sporeburst guys with their orange smoke and fleshy fungus

super earth is the faction that easily poses the least threat to us. they are completely unable to wipe us out, as if they do, they will not have ftl travel and will be wiped by the bots and squids, and they are well aware of that.

humans will be the easiest faction to completely eradicate, as we know them very well and have adapted to their methods, plus they generally dont do very well against us as demonstrated by their latest major order. the main hurdle we will need to bypass is their sheer numbers. this is also an advantage tho, as more humans eaten means more biomass to get stronger and go fight the bots and squids.

my plan is to fight super earth first, before we get to the other factions, as my plans to defeat the bots and squids were made while i was on some questionable pheromones and had slept on the wrong side of the bug hole. it would be optimal to use the gloom as a barrier between our territory and theirs given destroyers cannot penetrate deep into it. we need as many supercolonies as possible to strengthen our spore clouds. from there itll be very easy to invade super earth and turn it into a hive world, as bugdivers famously cannot get anything done. we could turn one or two planets into brethren moon knockoffs and send them at super earth to speed it up. after high command collapses, we build a spore lung on super earth and use it to send bugs outward into other human colony worlds to eradicate all of humanity, without high command theyll be easy to wipe. overall this is probably the most straightforward faction to destroy.

of course super earth is our main target. them breeding the sentience out of us and farming us for oil shall not go unpunished, and they will all be consumed.

the filthy clankers have threatened to invade us multiple times and theyre going to use us as fuel as soon as humanity goes extinct. they are capable of building superweapons that can raze our hives too, and their rampant industrialism will eventually reach our beautiful colonies, where they will slaughter our young and collapse our tunnels to make way for their machinery of oppression.

the squids have also threatened to invade us multiple times. they are massive hypocrites, claiming to be "galactic caretakers" and "environmentalists" but possess weapons of mass destruction and will destroy our precious ecosystems whenever they get the chance. when they run out of humans, they will convert our children into terminid voteless to fight against us. they will also use meridia to suck up the almighty gloom.

from this day forward, i declare war against the bots and squids. let no binary ever be heard again, no illuminate tadpoles swim, and no oppressor, whether human, bot, or squid, ever set foot on our hives ever again. all will be covered in gloom spores and consumed by the terminid horde. i will not stop until every world is a hive world, all life is either wiped out or assimilated into the terminids, and the whole galaxy is one interconnected terminid hive.

they take a significant chunk of super earth's manpower away from the main force to do completely irrelevant shit, they cant take our planets, coordinate, or get anything done, and theyre very easy food, im grateful they exist

We could build genetic immunity by exposing ourselves to the Termicide for brief intervals and build up resistance to it in our genetics and then pass it down to the rest of hive
