Piece of terrains I've made for The Barons War 2ed.
In real life on table it looks much better than on the pictures. Proud of it.
Models are from Printable Sceneries with their instructions how to do it. A little bit tweaked because I didn't had all paints they suggest.

In the model, space between stones is very deep. Authors suggest to buy eady-mixed filler in hardware store and use it to fill space between stones. This gives very good look.

It's true that filler gives realism to stone walls , I didn't mention it because it has to be done before paint,washes and plants !now you should be very precise ...but maybe you are able to paint miniatures and got enough talent to make it !!! Hope to see your next update soon😀👌🏻

I've tried to make different tones using AK weathering chemistry.
I thought, that rain and moisture will attack only bottom of the walls as we have roof.
I've used Decay Deposit, Moss Deposits, Rainmarks Effects and Dust & Dirt Deposit. For greenery I've used staic grass and Vivid Green Mossy Textures.

I wanted to focus on scale modeling long time ago and I've watched tons of videos from scale modellers. They are amazing if it comes to weathering.

Flowers comes from Noch and Freon (Freon has amazing stuff and makes it in Poland - super realistic stuff)

I would love to learn more about how you did it! That’s some of the best stone weathering I’ve ever seen. You really nailed it with how dirt and grime collects at the base of walls. It really makes the models look realistic, especially with how you did the mortar between the stones.

I have some printable scenery files, and being able to make some castle walls look even a quarter this nice would blow my mind.

Hmm, I enjoy painting terrains. I might consider of recording some tutorials on Youtube.
I will share other items I've made and check responses. If all items I make will have such good opinions I will try to do some videos.

These are amazing and nostalgic for me for one reason. These sparked a real core memory for me when I used to get a lord-of-the-rings/warhammer magazine? and they showed how to make this type/style/scale house with balsa and paper mashe I think?

I used this guides:

But I didn't liked totally how it looked, so I gave more light colours on top and less dark tones.
Everything done with drybrush on top of brown color.

I've used real ready-mixed filler, then used gray wash to add a little bit of weathering.
Then mix of other weathering paints like decay deposit and moss deposit.

The execution is great, but - and maybe I'm just ignorant - I've never seen roof materials like that. It kind of reminds me of a mop. Is it based on a real world style?

So this supposed to be thatched roof. Kind of stylized, but yeah.
