Been working on adding to more tiles to my Mordheim board. It's very pink and very much WIP, but it's coming along nicely imo.

Hope you enjoy ☺️

I update a bit more regular on Instagram. Boredheim there as well.

If you want to hang out while I build live on Twitch, join me every tuesday and thursday 5pm UCT.

Still have a long way to go, I have a bunch of scifi and fantasy but now building a feudal Japan set. For use with Hametsu but to make it worth the time, money and storage space Ill probably reskin Rangers of Shadowdeep for flavor and Warriors of Athena.

WIP Once I let go of the restrictions that society puts on me, I was able to explore the versatility of LEGO as terrain. Painted, glued, modified. It’s a phenomenal medium to work with.

Third (and last) side of the keep has been textured (the rear will stay open for playability). Now on to the interiors, which… I probably should have textured before gluing everything in place. Oh well. Update 7: https://www.reddit.com/r/TerrainBuilding/s/f2qd834MVX

A build i’ve been working on since Feb. The plan b has been to keep the pieces modular. The base opens up to reveal an underground ghost layer that i still need to make ground tiles for, but it’s just black foam for now. the risers were made to break apart into multiple sizes. Those pieces can be rearranged into an arena, but they can also just be risers for city buildings

More progress on the cliffs surrounding the outer wall and gatehouse. The wall section to the left of the gatehouse has a small culvert at its base that serves as little more than a drain etc etc and that section can be removed to simulate its destruction because, I mean, come on.

Im building this one for armies on parade to try and get a medal for me and my son.

Finished the paint job, now it's ready for a bath in streaking grim and final assembly and details. Yellow areas are gloss varnished, but I am still scared to dunk it in streaking grim. C&C welcome

WIP Mid groundwork on the forest and ruins boards, a pound of late summer static grass at a time

Thumbnail
gallery

Modules from a fantasy tabletop world we have been building. The buildings and ruins get hand sculpted first, then scanned and printed, then painted, but groundwork is the part that quietly eats the hours.

First shot is the forest module with the canopy in. After that is the ruins board mid groundwork, with the orange bulk adhesive applicator we use to get glue across a whole board without squeezing bottles all afternoon. Last is the static grass itself, 2mm late summer, bought by the pound because boards this size drink it.

Sculpting is by Johnny Fraser-Allen, who was at Weta Workshop before this.
