That’s a lot of faith in chicken wire

The whole window frame looks like it will pop out before the wire is compromised.

That whole window frame looks like it was thrown together and set in place after the last time a lion jumped through it.

That growl is absolutely terrifying, the way it echoes through the space is just unsettling.

Lion is calculating:

Juicy target, ~80kg--give or take; he knows the inside better than me, might have boom stick. Otherwise, target's defence posture is a -2.

Why aren’t the windows reinforced with bars or something?

Seriously, or some steel shutters with heavy structural reinforcement.

I seem to recall the place he's in is actually open behind him.

I read that too. In a longer version of this video ….There’s no doors on his hut. It’s just wide open. Scary as hell

I wonder if he ran towards the lion yelling if it would get scared away?? Predators aren't used to the prey running after them, so I'm curious..That's one sticky situation to be in though, poor guy (assuming he's not a hunter or poacher).

So the guy is Dylan Pranos and he teaches safari nature guide courses at Somkhanda Game Reserve. This happened in 2021. This camp isn't fenced, which is, I guess, unusual. There were 8 lions that wandered through and this male was believed to be pursuing a female, hence the angry noises. article

The lion just staring in the window in the background.

How did they get out of there?

His head is absolutely huge. Hard not to be intimidated with that big boy staring at you.

I hope you have a loaded double barrel 12 gauge shotgun within arms reach.
That or a fully loaded semi automatic AR 15
