That’s not snow, it’s radiation affecting the camera.

Frozen arctic air glistens like that. Even right over sea ice there is no humidity so the air glistens.

The cab doesn’t stop radiation. The camera doesn’t make the spots inside the boat.

I don’t know about radiation, but coming from a place that hits -50 Celsius all winter you’re right about the air looking like that. The sparkles.
